Hyunjin&Felix - PART 1

🍼little Felix

Hyunjin is holding an ice pack on Felix's cheek while watching the lady in front of him.

"A little argument occurred between Felix and another little. No caregiver was near to hear why they argued, but they are both okay."

Hyunjin is sure his little one isn't okay, it is clear Felix cried and there is a bruise on his cheek. He doesn't understand it. Why does someone always bully his little Felix? They have already tried 5 different daycares and it took just 3 weeks until someone bullied him in this one new. Hyunjin knows what will happen next - the lady will promise to speak with caregivers of the second little one and she will promise it won't happen again. But Hyunjin knows that soon someone else will bully his little one. And he refuses to wait for that!

Hyunjin is quite desperate. He can't afford a nanny, one week was enough. He still hasn't found a new daycare which means they will have to try some of the previous daycares if a miracle doesn't happen. Hyunjin is walking home from the near supermarket. Felix is carrying a box of cereals while Hyunjin drags two heavy bags. The weather is warm and Hyunjin is tired. The stress and hot weather are exhausting him. Suddenly a soft breeze brings some paper which hits Hyunjin's legs and sticks to his skin. The already annoyed man is getting angry and puts the bags down to get rid of the paper. He grabs it and wants to throw it in a bin when the colorful letters caught his attention. Stray kids - the new daycare in the area!

The bold letters have soothing effect. Hyunjin smiles and quickly looks around. Name of the street written on the paper is somehow familiar, it must be close. Confused Felix follows his daddy in a narrow street and after a few minutes they found a nice garden with a smaller old-fashioned Korean house. At least 5 littles are running in the garden and a man who must be a caregiver spots them. He immediately recognizes that another little one is standing in front of him and kneels in front of Felix.

"Hi!"

Hyunjin is silently staring on this daycare. The garden is full of flower beds, there is even a big vegetable bed in a corner. This place is perfect and so different than the rest of daycares for littles.

"Can I help you?"

The man is smiling at Hyunjin who finally wakes up.

"What is this place?"

The man laughs and points on the house.

"I am Bang Chan and I own this place with my two friends - Changbin and Han."

Bang Chan opens the low yellow gate and leads them inside.

"Speak with Han, I have to watch the kids."

Han hurries to their guests and Hyunjin explains his situation.

"You are lucky, we have last few spots. I can show you everything if you want."

Felix is peeking on the other littles who are playing outside and Han encourages him to go and play with them while he explains everything to Hyunjin. This daycare is so different. The littles have more responsibilities, they help with taking care of the garden and their 5 chickens, they also go on trips in various museums. Hyunjin is a bit scared to ask about the price, but then Han hands him their price list. This time Hyunjin is even more shocked. The price isn't so bad if you count all benefits of this new place. He can afford new and hopefully safer environment for his baby boy!
