NamKook - PART 3

🍼little Jungkook

Namjoon isn't usually the one who picks up little Jungkook from the daycare centre, but today is different. Seokjin is too busy, he can't pick up Jungkook so Namjoon needs to leave his office earlier. He has no problem leaving work a bit earlier, but then the traffic is terrible and it takes him forever to reach the daycare centre.

Then comes the biggest problem - Jungkook doesn't see his mommy. Everyday only his mommy picks him up and now he can only see Namjoon. The poor man is utterly lost when Jungkook throws himself on the floor. Another adults who come to get their littles are watching Namjoon who is trying to calm down screaming and crying Jungkook. Namjoon is so embarrassed. Other caregivers are silently judging him or worse, more caregivers are looking at him with pity in their eyes. Jungkook is crying while Namjoon drags him to put on his shoes and coat. When he is dressed, Jungkook almost runs outside, but Namjoon manages to catch his hand. Outside the daycare centre is a parking lot and Jungkook runs toward their black SUV. He hopes mommy is inside, but the car is empty.

Namjoon picks him up from behind and squeezes him in his booster carseat. Jungkook is squirming and hissing at him, but Namjoon manages to buckle the seatbelt and sighs. Coming home isn't easier. Jungkook still cries that he wants his mommy and even chicken nuggets with French fries can't stop his tears. Namjoon skips bath time and manages to swaddle Jungkook in a blanket. He puts his little one in his crib and pushes a pacifier between his lips. The little one is clearly mad, he is glaring at daddy who turns on the crib mobile. Jungkook is falling asleep. He is mad and sad, but his pacifier and being swaddled is amazing.

Namjoon collapses on his bed and sighs. He has no idea why Jungkook doesn't like him. Seokjin spends lots of time with Jungkook, but that is no reason to hate his daddy. Namjoon is falling asleep wearing his suit when he hears the front door being opened. Seokjin is back and the first thing he does, is going in the nursery to check on their little bunny. Jungkook is fast asleep, only the crib mobile is playing a soft tune. Seokjin goes in their bedroom and smiles at his husband.

"How did it go?"

Namjoon mumbles something and Seokjin laughs.

"Jungkook isn't so cute when he cries and screams."

Namjoon groans and looks at his husband. Everyone thinks Jungkook is cute, but not many people know how much he can cry and scream. Namjoon throws his shirt away and decides to skip shower, he will shower in the morning. Seokjin sprawls on the bed next to Namjoon and snuggles closer to him. Seokjin is pleased that Jungkook manages to fall asleep, he probably exhausted himself with all his crying, but Seokjin doesn't have enough strength to deal with him tonight. He wants to sleep and in the morning he will be ready to be the best mommy like always.
