Yesung&Kyuhyun - PART 1

Kyuhyun wasn't ready for this. You see, it is usually Ryeowook who takes care of their little Yesung. With Ryeowook gone, he needs to deal with this, he needs to defeat this challenge. Or as his annoying friend Siwon always says - No challenge, no change.

Kyuhyun doesn't know how does Yesung manage to develop an ear infection at least 5 times per year. An ear infection means medicine, ear drops. Kyuhyun is trying to remember if Ryeowook has some tricks how to do this, but he can't remember when Yesung cries so hard.

The petite little one somehow managed to squeeze himself in the gap between a wall and the back of their couch. And now he is crying in the tiny space. Kyuhyun can't get him out without risking hurting him in the process so he has to beg.

"Look what daddy has!"

Kyuhyun shakes a bag of potato chips so Yesung can see the treat, but of course it doesn't work, he tried every snack in the house, but Yesung won't break down, he hates the ear drops.

"Yesung, if you want to sit in the corner for naughty boys ... Come out!"

Kyuhyun tries to grab Yesung's hands and slowly pulls. Yesung wasn't expecting that daddy will climb over the couch's back and grab him, but he is already being pulled out of his safe hiding spot. Yesung resorts to screaming on the top of his lungs and Kyuhyun wrestles with him to lie him down on the floor. Yesung is squirming, crying and screaming while a strong headache starts to grow inside Kyuhyun's head. He is holding the tiny bottle with ear drops - why the hell are they making the bottles so tiny!! - and tries to aim at Yesung's ear. The little one is squirming so hard that the drops are everywhere except in Yesung's hurting ear. Kyuhyun is losing this battle, he knows it, Yesung knows it.

"Fine."

Kyuhyun lets go of the little and Yesung angrily rubs his face. Kyuhyun sighs and takes Yesung's hand in his. He takes him in the bathroom to wash his red and tearstained face before grabbing his wallet and keys. He needs coffee if he must survive more hours alone with Yesung. He knows Ryeowook will be mad that he didn't get the medicine in Yesung, but at this point Kyuhyun doesn't care. Starbucks is near and they enter the half empty coffee shop. Kyuhyun orders café Americano and Yesung points at a unicorn cake pop. His daddy won't say no, they both deserve a calm moment. They sit down and a waitress bring box with crayons and coloring page with cakes. Kyuhyun sips on his hot coffee and Yesung is calmly coloring the black and white pictures. Kyuhyun sends a quick message to Ryeowook, his partner is probably heading home from his office, and they could sit down together for a while before trying to give Yesung the medicine again.
