🌺🥀"I'll Play Along."🥀🌺(Shuichi×Kokichi)

Shuichi's PoV:

Im not good with confessions.
Just thinking about it would give me chills.In middle school I turned down a girl that confessed to me.She ran away sobbing like I laid my hands on her or something.

A day after that,I realized her group of friends would tease me and bully me for no reason.She sicked her gang on me.They didnt stop until we graduated to highschool but that incident scarred me.

I tried my hardest to keep quiet and not attract attention.Surely,no one would fall for me if they didnt even know what I sounded like.I couldnt stay lonely forever though.Afew people saw I was a loner and tried to make friends with me.

A group of 2 boys and 3 girls.
Kaede Akamatsu,Miu Iruma,Maki Harukawa,Kokichi Oma and Kaito Momota.They were a group that stood out.Loud and always causing a ruckus amoung eachother.

We slowly became friends and I was accepted into their group.I was...afraid of the girls in the group because of the incident in middle school.If one of them hated me,Im sure the rest would follow.

But shockingly,none of the girls took interest in me,the person that I didnt expect to like me confessed to me afew months after I became part of the group.Kokichi Oma.

He was really sweet and always put me in a good mood,so when he asked me to meet him on the rooftop to talk around lunch without the others...I didnt think too much of it.

"Kokichi.There you are.You shouldve told me exactly where you were on the roof."

I sigh.
It took me awhile to find him.The roof was huge.

"Sorry about that~!I was sure you wouldve found me eventually!"

He smiles.

"Of course.There's only so many places you could be."

I chuckle.

"What do you want to talk about?The others may come looking for us soon."

I add.
Kokichi's cheeks begin to burn a slight pink,slightly noticable.
He smile doesnt fade.

"I just wanted to get something off my chest.I need to ask you something."

He sighs.

"Go on."

I reassure.
I was intrigued to hear what he had to say.Kokichi nervously scratches the back of his neck.

"Well...I-I..."

He stumbles on his words.
He was never the type to be so nervous.He seemed confident in everything he did.That just made me more interested.Then he said something that I dreaded.

"I really like you.Do you maybe wanna consider....being my boyfriend?"

He questions.
I felt my heart drop.
He had such...a sweet smile like...that girl years ago.My chest tightened and I couldnt think straight.What if he gets upset and makes everyone in our group hate me?

"Uh...hello?Earth to Shumai~?"

Kokichi's eyebrows furrow.

"Ah!I li-like you too!"

I blurt out,my heart pounding out of my chest.Kokichi seemed abit surprised.

"Uh....you do?"

He asks.

"Y-Yes!Yes...I do."

I didnt want it to end up like last time.I didnt want to lose my friends.

"Are you...sure?That was alittle quick."
