Chapter 30

Today is the day I marry my best friend. I can't believe today is the wedding day. I quietly walk to my daughter's room and open her door. I find her and buddy asleep with her little arm around Buddy's torso. I smile big and decide to take a picture of the two cuties. I take the picture and post it on Instagram with the caption my two babies asleep. I love these two very much. #bigday #mybabies #Ilovethem. "Aubree." I say gently stroking her hair and pushing a piece out of her face. She doesn't move but Buddy shoots up and licks my hand. "Bree baby its time to get up." I say smiling and patting Buddy's head. She groans and turns the other way facing the wall. "Come on baby girl lets get ready to go." I say patting her back. "No mommy. Sleepy." She tells me groaning again. I chuckle and pick her up. "Come on babygirl." I say as she lays her head on my shoulder and closes her eyes again. I carry her into my room where both of our clothes sit on the bed. Buddy runs in after us trying to jump on the bed. "Look baby you get to wear this pretty dress to mommy and daddy's wedding today." I say showing her a lavender dress with a white bow on the front. I watch her open her eyes and look at the dress. "Pwetty mommy." She whispers. I set her on the bed and put Buddy on her lap. I watch her smile an pet buddy while I change into jeans and a t-shirt. "Mommy where your dress?" Aubree asks me. "Its in my closet baby. I'll put it on when we get to the place where mommy and daddy are getting married." I explain to her. "Do you want to wear your pretty dress now or wait until mommy puts on her's?" I ask her. "I want to put it on later mommy. Can I wear my pjs to the place mommy?" She asks me in her cute little 4 year old voice. "Sure princess you can wear them." I say to her smiling.

A little while later we head to the venue in a limo. I watch as Aubree has amazement in her eyes when she sees the venue Nick and I chose. We chose to have our wedding in a castle similar to the one at Disneyland. "Wow mommy it's so big." Aubree says as we get out of the car. I smile at her and pick up Buddy and stick him in my purse. I grab Aubree's hand and walk into the venue. I lead the way to our dressing room and stick our dresses on a rack as my bridesmaids start to walk in. "Hey guys." I say smiling at them. "Come on Bree lets get you dressed in your pretty dress." I say picking her up and kissing her cheeks. She giggles and hugs my neck. I help her get dressed into her lavender dress and help her put on her little black shoes. After I set her in a chair and have my hair stylist do her hair.

Aubree POV

After mommy put me in the chair so I could get my hair done she took her dress and went to go get dressed. "Auntie Dally?" I say trying to get her attention. She walks over to me "Yes sweetie?" "Where daddy?" I ask her. "He's in a different room getting ready." She tells me. "I miss him." I say pouting. "Want to go see him?" I nod my head like crazy as the lady finishes my hair. She curled it and put it into two pigtails. I hop off of the chair and grab Auntie Dally's hand. She leads me to a room across the big castle where daddy is getting ready. She knocks on the door and uncle Kevin opens the door. "I want to see my daddy pwease." I tell him. He smiles and opens the door a little wider and I walk in. "Daddy!" I shout when I see him. "There's my princess." He says bending down to catch me. I wrap my arms around his neck. "I missed you Daddy." I mumble in his shoulder. He smiles at me. "You look so beautiful Aubree." He says with a big smile across his face. "Thank you daddy. How come you in this room and not with me and mommy?" I ask him. "Cause the boys get dressed here and the girls get dressed where you and mommy are." He explains. I nod my head. "But how come Buddy is with mommy and not you?" I ask him. He chuckles. "Cause mommy wants him with her." He says smiling. "Bree let's go back so we can see mommy." Auntie Dally tells me. I nod my head and then hug daddy one last time. He kisses my head and puts me down and I grab Auntie Dally's hand. We walk back in where mommy is in her pretty white dress. "Oh mommy." I say running to her. "You look bewtiful." I say looking up at her. Her white dress is very sparkly and has ruffles at the bottom. "thank you babygirl." She says smiling down at me.
