Chapter 29

Its three more days until I marry Nick and I am super nervous because everyone is coming into town. I am also very excited to be marrying my best friend and the man of my dreams. I watch him and Aubree play dollies in the playroom and giggle at how she tells Nick what to say when he plays. "Hey Nick can I talk to you for a minute?" I say watching him. "Sure. I'll be right back Bree." He says handing her the doll. I lead him down to our room to talk. "I know its our rehearsal dinner tonight but I saw this puppy and I have to have him Nick." I show him the picture of this little white puppy with dark brown eyes and a cute little black nose. "Please baby. Can we go get him?" I practically beg Nick. "Baby we have Aubree I don't know about getting a puppy right now." He tells me. "It could be her early birthday present. Please Nick he's so adorable and I just wanna cuddle him." I say giving him the puppy dog pout. Nick sighs. "Okay Dems we can get the puppy." He says with a smile. "Really?!" I say getting really happy. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him passionately and he kisses me back. "thank you Nick." I say looking at him. "You know I can't say no to that puppy dog pout. You just look so damn cute that way." He says looking down at me with his big brown eyes. "We have to go get him today cause today is the last day to adopt him. " I explain to him. He nods his head as Aubree comes running into our room. "Uppy daddy." She says reaching for him. "Whats wrong princess?" He says picking her up. She doesn't answer and cuddles into him. She's been very clingy to Nick ever since we had our fight and he walked out of the house and she watched him drive off. I walk over and rub her back and watch her as she closes her eyes and lays her head on Nick's shoulder. "Why don't we go now so that way Bree can take an n-a-p on the way." I tell nick. He nods his head and grabs my head and we walk down stairs to the car. We drive about a half hour to the pets store and I look in the back and see my little girl asleep. I decide not to wake her up and let her sleep. I get out of the car and walk into the pet store. "Hello." A man say greeting me. "Hi I would like to get the little white dog in the front window please." He nods and walks to the window and grabs the little white one and brings him to me. I smile and take him in my arms. Hes perfect I think to myself. "Will you be needing supplies for him?" The man asks me. "Yes I will need a leash, food, bowls, potty pads, a collar, and a bed for him." I tell him. He nods his head and then motions for me to follow him. He shows me where everything is and I follow him and grab the things I need. I purchase my things and head back to the car where Aubree is awake. "Mommy?" She says as I open the door. "Yes baby girl?" "What's that you got in your arms?" She asks me. "It's a puppy. " I say smiling. Her little eyes light up and she smiles big. "He's for you but mommy is going to hold him okay?" She nods her head. "What do you want to name him?" I ask her. "I want to name him......Buddy."
