My Love Is Like a Star

Chapter 15

        Today is my show at Honda Center and Maddie is going to be there. She is joining me on the rest of my tour to help out with Aubree. Even thought Nick is staying with me on most of the tour and helping out with her it'll be nice to have my little sister with me. I didn't tell Aubree when Maddie was coming on the tour with us. As we pull into the Honda Center I see a familiar car and lots of fans. As we park my bus the fans follow it and start to crowd it. I hear whimpering coming from behind me as I was staring out the window. I turned around and scooped up my precious baby girl. "Its okay beautiful mommy won't let anything happen to you." I told her. "Neither will I" Nick said from behind us.We hadn't told the world about us dating yet, but Aubree knows that I like Nick and he likes me. Nick bent down and kissed Aubree's forehead. Her little arms reached out for him. He took her from me and she buried her head in the crook of his neck. He bent down and kissed my lips. This day was going to be a good day I could feel it. 

         Before we walked outside I grabbed Aubree from Nick so no one would know we were dating or assume anything. She hid her face in my hair. I stopped to sign some autographs but was rushed by Max. We arrived inside and I handed Aubree off to Nick. They looked so cute together it was great. We walked to my dressing room and Nick sat Aubree on the couch.  I pulled out my iPad and turned on Frozen for her. I had about an hour until sound check party so Nick and I sat down next to her and watched the movie. "Mama?" She said not taking her eyes off the screen. "Yes baby?" "Do you  have to go sing right now?" She asked me. "Not at this very moment but soon lovebug." I told her. She wrapped her little arms around my waist. "Please don't go." She said. I saw the tears forming in her eyes. It was another one of those days. The concert 2 days ago she was fine with me going to sound check. Today she wasn't. I felt bad that I had to leave her but, this is what I love to do. "How about you come on stage again with me like you did in Vancouver piglet."  Her eyes light up and a huge smile was across her face. I was glad that made her happy. Maybe she liked being on stage? I know it was partially because I was gone but maybe thats why she wanted to always go out with me because she liked being on stage.

        An hour passed by and I had to go to sound check and then to meet and greet. I walked out on stage for sound check with Aubree's little hand in mine. "Hey guys!" I said. Aubree ran to the edge of the stage and sat down. She had her little ear plugs in and a giant grin on her little face. I giggled as I watched the fans go nuts that she was actually here in person. "So welcome to my sound check party!" I said. The fans cheered. The first song I did was Stop The World. After the chorus Aubree got up and ran to me. And then she began to dance around the stage. It was so cute! I really wish I could have recorded it. She was twirling and skipping and doing all these cute moves. I don't know where she learned to dance like that but it wasn't from me. I laughed as I watched her dance. After I did a few songs Natalie came out and we had fan questions. "Aubree, go with Natalie please mommy will be there soon." I said in her ear. I watched as Natalie grabbed my little girls hand and led her to the side of the stage where Nick was waiting for her. 

        After meet and greet I headed back to my dressing room to find my little girl sound asleep on the little blue couch in there. I felt arms wrap around me from behind. I smiled, I looked up at Nick and he began to kiss my neck. I moaned a little bit. I turned around so he could kiss my lips. His lips met mine and the flame that had been there for a while now ignited again. I smiled as he kissed me. Our lips moving in sync. Nick pulled me closer to him and deepened the kiss. "You're so beautiful." He said after he pulled away. I smiled at him. A knock came at the door. I pulled away and opened the door. "DEMI!" Screamed a dark haired mini me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged her tightly. "Hey baby sis!" I said excitedly. I was so happy to see that Maddie was at my concert and that she could finally join me on tour. I knew when Aubree woke up she was going to be so excited to see her Maddie.
