Chapter 22

Demi Pov:

The next morning I woke up with a note on Nick’s pillow instead of him being there.

Dear Demi,

I love you and Aubree so much. This day is going to be a good day. There is breakfast in the kitchen for you two there you will find the first clue to the rest of your life. I love you very much.

I smiled at the thought of him making us breakfast. I kept wondering what he meant about the first clue to the rest of my life means.  I walk into Aubree’s room where she is sound asleep still and wake her up. “Bree time to get up.” I say kissing her cheek. She rubs her eyes and smiles up at me. “Good morning sunshine.” I say picking her up.  We walk down the stairs where pancakes and toast are made for us. I fix Aubree a plate and then pick up the other note that is sitting next to all the food.

Demi,

First I want to say thank you for being in my life. Youre a perfect in every which way no matter what anyone tell you. Second I want you and Aubree to go to Disneyland for the day. Spend time together. There will be 2 more clues through out the day. Have fun with the little princess. I love you both.

                I smile and then sit down with Aubree and eat breakfast. “Mommy? Where’s daddy?”  Aubree asks. “Baby I’m not sure but he wants us to go to Disneyland today.  And we’re supposed to have fun!” I say smiling and tickling her tummy. I finish up my plate and stick it in the sink.  “Aubree finish up so we can get ready. You might get to meet Elsa today.” I tell her hoping she’d eat faster which she did. I scoop her up and take her to her room and change her into her favorite princess dress. Elsa of course.  After I finish getting her ready I go change into jeans and a t-shirt.  “Alright little bug lets go!” We hop into the car and take off to Disneyland.

                We arrive at Disneyland  and walk into the park. I put on my sunglasses and my silver ears hoping no one would spot me through out the day. Aubree and I walk around for a bit going through shops and looking at toys she would want for her birthday.  “Mommy can we go on a ride now?” She says whining. I laugh “Okay baby we can go on a ride. How about Dumbo?”  Aubree nods her head fast with excitement. While we walk over my favorite princess walks up to me and Aubree.  “I was told to find you by a handsome prince and give you this letter.” Cinderella says sweetly. Aubree in awe squeals with excitement. “MOMMY! “ She screams.  “Can she get a picture with you before you leave?” “Of course.” I pull out my phone and snap a few pics of Aubree with Cinderella.  I open the note and its from Nick again.

                “Well I guess we will have to go on Pirates after we ride dumbo bug.” I tell Aubree. Nick has got to be up to something and I am sorta scared of what its going to be.  We walk over to the Dumbo ride but before we get there Aubree spots Elsa. She squeals with excitement and runs off. “Aubree!” I yell running after her.  I find her standing  in front of  the building that lets you see the girls from Frozen. “Aubree you can’t take off like that. You scared me.” I say pulling her into a hug. “Sowwy mommy. I just wanted to see Elsa.” “I know bug. We’ll see Elsa after we ride Dumbo.” She nods her head and we walk over to the line for dumbo.

                After we rode Dumbo we walked back over to meet Anna and Elsa.  The cast members reconized me and let us in after they shut the door to see the girls. I set Aubree on the floor to let her meet the girls. “Hi princess, I love your dress.” Elsa said to her. Aubree didn’t talk she was to starstruck to even say anything. “Bug give her a hug.” She walked up to her and gave her a hug and then turned around and smiled widely. I took about 5 pictures of her with the girls “Bye bye Elsa.” Aubree finally said as we were leaving.  We head over to Pirates, as soon as we get there a cast member hands me the last letter to Nick’s  “Clues”. “here you go Ms Lovato.” She says handing me a white envelope.

This is your final clue. Head to the Castle around 7. I love you

                I look at my watch and its only 3 in the afternoon. I have four hours until I have to meet Nick. We ride the ride and then we decide to get some lunch. We eat at this little café and listen to the jazz band that’s playing. When Aubree heard the music she started dancing around. I pull out my phone and start recording her dancing around.  I check my watch again and its now 5.  I groan. I want it to be 7 already. I take Aubree on a few more rides before realizing its almost 7 and I have to be in front of the castle.  We start walking to the castle when I spot my parents and my sisters.  “What are you guys doing here?” I say walking up to them. “Demi!” Maddie squeals and wraps her arms around me. “Heyy what about me?” Aubree says.  Maddie picks her up and hugs her. “We just wanted to get out of the house. Where are you two going?” “Uh to the castle I think I’m supposed to meet Nick there.” I say We all walk to the castle where I spot Nick standing in the front. He’s dressed in a nice shirt and holding a dozen red roses.  “Go on we’ve go Aubree.” My mom says to me. I smile and walk to nick.

                “Babe you look so nice.” I say approaching him.  He smiles and kisses my cheek and hands me the roses. “where’s Aubree.?” He asks “Shes with my parents and Maddie and Dallas.” I say smiling.  “Demetria Devonne Lovato, the day I met you was the greatest day of my life. You’re perfect in every way possible.  I love you and Aubree so much. “ He gets down on one knee. “Demi will you make me the happiest man ever and marry me?” I start tearing up. “Yes, a billion times yes!” I say. He slips the diamond ring on my finger and stands up and kisses me.
