After my meeting with Phil and Nick, Aubree and I had to rush home. My family was coming over to meet her in an hour. We were driving and stuck in bad traffic. "Aubree, some of my family is coming over today to meet you." I said looking in the rear view mirror. She looked at me with wide eyes. "Mommy what if they don't like me?" She asked quietly. "Oh baby they'll love you. They already do. I talk about you to your grandma and papa all the time. Your aunties love you too. They can't wait to meet my beautiful little girl!" I told her. She gave me a weak smile. We made it home with a half hour to spare. I cleaned the kitchen and the living room within that time. Aubree was watching Cinderella on the couch while I cleaned. The door bell rang and I went to answer the door. "Hey guys!" I said as they all walked in.  "Where's this cute little girl you have been bragging about?" Maddie said as she gave me a hug. I looked over to the couch but Aubree wasn't there. "I'll be right back guys." I said walking up to her room. I found her in the corner next to the bed.

"Aubree, come here." I said as I bent down and held out my arms for her. She ran into them and started crying. "Baby girl what's wrong?" I asked her as put my face into her long wavy hair. "I-I scared mama. They not going to like me and and..." She couldn't get the rest out. "Baby, they're going to love you. Come on. I'll be right next to you the whole time." I told her. I got up and carried her down the stairs to the living room where my family was waiting. "Hey guys. This is Aubree." I said smiling at her. "Oh my gosh Demi! She is the cutest thing I have ever seen!" Maddie squealed. She ran over to give her a hug but Aubree hid her face into my hair. "Say hi to Aunt Maddie." I whispered. She moved her head out of my hair and back on to my shoulder. "hi." She said quietly. "Hi Aubree! I'm your Aunt Maddie. You can call me whatever you want to. Can I hold you?" She asked her. I handed her over to Maddie. "Demi she is so cute! I love you Aubree. Wanna go play dolls?" Maddie asked her. Aubree nodded her head.

"So how has it been?" My mom asked me as I sat down at the table. "Its been a good 3 days. She's really gotten used to sleeping in my room though. But I am sure we'll break that habit soon." I said with a smile. "What are you going to do with her while you're on tour?" My dad asked. "Well I told her that she had to stay in the wings with you guys and Marissa and that if she was really good she could come out on stage with me for sound check." I said. I looked over at my little sister and my girl playing with the dolls we bought the other day at the mall. I smiled and grabbed my phone and started shooting pictures of the two of them bonding. "I'm glad she's getting used to people faster. She's really shy and was afraid that you guys wouldn't like her." I told them. "Demi we couldn't love her anymore than we love you guys." My mom said with a smile on her face. I smiled back. "Well dem we better get going. Maddie lets go sweetie." My mom said. "Awww mom can't I stay? I am having too much fun with the munchkin." "Ask your sister." "PLLLLLEEEEEASSSSEEEE DEMI!!!" Maddie said showing me her puppy dog pout. " I don't care." I said laughing. "Aubree come say bye to Grandma and Grandpa." I said to her. She got up and hugged both of my parents. I smiled at her for being such a big girl.

After my parents left we decided that we would have ice cream and watch a movie for awhile. We watched Dolphin Tale and sat around eating popcorn and ice cream. I loved having my sister over she is so good with Aubree that I am going to see if she wants to stay with me on tour to help out and watch her. Aubree fell asleep snuggled into Maddie's side on the couch. I smiled and took a photo of them. Caption: Two of my favorite people in the world. Life couldn't be better. I left the two of them on the couch and went upstairs to my room. Around 3:30 am I heard a whining noise coming from down stairs. I decided to get up and see who was whining. I saw that Aubree was awake and so was Maddie. "She won't stop crying Demi. I don't know what to do." Maddie said still somewhat groggy. I walked over and picked up my girl. "Shhhh baby. Tell mommy what's wrong." I said rocking her. "Y-you l-left me." she said in between each cry. "Honey I was right upstairs in my room. I didn't leave you." I reassured her. Maddie had laid back down and fallin asleep. I kissed the top of Maddie's head and took Aubree upstairs with me. We lay on the bed and I was snuggling her. "Mommy?" she said quietly. "Yes baby girl?" "Do you still want me?" I gasped at the question she asked. "Aubree Lynn Lovato. I will always want you. You are my baby girl and you will always be mine and no one elses." I told her pulling her closer to my chest. I kissed the top of her head. I was still in shock that my 3 year old daughter asked me that. "I love you princess NEVER forget that." I told her. We both fell asleep after that.
