Chapter 14

        After I tucked Aubree in my bed I walked back out to the living room where Nick was sitting on the couch. I found him watching some show on tv. I sat down on the couch. Nick noticed me and grabbed my arm and pulled me into his side. I snuggled into him. He looked down at me with his big brown eyes and smiled. I liked being snuggled up against him, but was I ready for our relationship to change? I pushed my thoughts aside and looked up at him. He leaned his head down and gentely kissed my lips. "Demi, there's something I have to tell you." He said quietly. I sat up looking him directly in his eyes. "And whats that Nick?" I asked him. He took a deep breath in. "Demi, these last few weeks have been amazing. I really like that Aubree has gotten used to me being around and she is just so cute. Seeing her with you makes me really happy. And it makes me think of how much I would be loosing without you in my life so, Demi......will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. I was sorta shocked and happy all at the same time. I smiled and said "Yes Nick, I would love to be your girlfriend." With that he kissed me very passionately. We maded out on the couch for awhile until I heard a cry come from my room. "I have to check on Aubree and get ready for bed. I'll see you in the morning." I said to him. 

        I walked into my room to see my little girl still asleep, but she was crying really hard. I shook her but she didn't wake up. "Aubree, Aubree!" I said shouting her name. Her eyelids flew open and she moved quickly into my arms. "Baby...mommy's got you. Mommy's got you." I kept saying over and over again. I began rocking her and hummed Warrior to her. She calmed down and I laid her beside me. "Shhhh.... Its okay. I won't leave baby." I wrapped my arms around my little girl. I kissed her head and pulled her close to me. I soon fell into a deep sleep. I woke up to little arms wrapping around my neck and kisses being placed all over my face. I opened my eyes to see my little girl sitting on my stomach and she was hugging and kissing me. "I'm awake beautiful." I said trying to keep my eyes open. "I hungry." She said rubbing her flat stomach. I laughed. "I'm mommy its nice to meet you." I said smiling. She gave me a confused look and I took her laid her on the bed and started tickling her.  Her little laugh filled the room. She started to scream and laugh. "S-S-Stop M-M-Mommy!" She said inbetween her breaths. I loved seeing her smiling. I was smiling and finally let her breathe. I started laughing.

        I hadn't noticed Nick he was standing in the door way with no shirt on in his PJ pants. He looked at me and smiled. "Oh my gosh! Nick you scared me!" I said almost falling off my bed. He laughed. I got off the bed Aubree still trying to calm down from all the tickling. I walked over to Nick. He bent down and kissed my lips. "Good morning beautiful." He said as he pulled away. "Morning." I wrapped my arms around torso and he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into his chest. His smell was amazing. He always smelt good. Aubree hopped off the bed and ran to us. I picked her up "Good morning little missy." Nick said as he bent down to her. She giggled. "Hi Nick." She said cutely. He hugged both of us. "I need to shower. Baby girl can you go with Nick while I shower?" I asked her. She nodded her head yes. Nick held out his arms and she went into them. I smiled and kissed her head and kissed Nicks lips. "Come on kiddo lets go get you some breakfast." I heard Nick say as I went into the bathroom. After I finished my shower and getting ready I walked out into the living room to find a plate of toast and fruit and yogurt sitting out for me. Aubree was sitting in front of the TV watching Tangled and Nick was sitting at the table with his coffee waiting for me to get out of the shower. I sat down next to him. "Thank you for making me breakfast." I said as I sat down. "You're welcome beautiful." He said. I blushed as he leaned over to kiss me. I looked over at Aubree who was still  in her PJs and she was dancing and singing to all the songs in the movie. I pulled out my phone and secretly recorded her dancing and singing. 

        I was glad to have a day off. It gave me a day to relax and a day to rest my voice for tomorrow's show in San Jose. "Momma!" Aubree said when she finally noticed me at the table with Nick. She cllimbed up next to me and sat down. "Want a bite of some toast?" I asked as she sat down. She shook her head no. "I want ogurt." she said pointing to the carton. I laughed and handed her the yogurt. Nick and I talked while Aubree ate her yogurt. "So is there anything you wanna do today?" Nick asked me. "We could go to a movie or something." I said to him. "I wanna go shopping momma." Aubree said looking at me with yogurt all over her face. I giggled and snapped a pic and posted it on Instagram. My baby girl eating her breakfast or breskist as she calls it.  After breakfast I cleaned my little yogurt monster up. "Nick can you see what stores are around here!" I yelled from the bathroom changing my little girl into her black legging and a purple tutu and pink shirt with Rapunzel on it. We walked out of the bathroom and into the living room. "The only stores around here are Target and some other funky stores." He said. As he looked up from his phone he noticed Aubree was dressed. "Hey Bree you look so cute! Can I take a picture of you?" He asked her. She nodded and then smiled for the picture. We decided to spend the day inside watching Disney movies together.
