Kia's POV
I was in my room, it's Saturday, I don't know what to do , it's weird tho, I can sense that my sister has this “, new habit ”, I wonder what is it. That's why I decided to check her on her room to see what was going on.
Mga ilang hakbang lang naman bago mapuntahan Ang kwarto ni Amari, and yes, may sign din sya sa door nya na if ever ayaw nyang padisturb or what. Just like mine. But when I arrive in front of her room door, the sign is really odd.
Not just like her usual “ Do Not Disturb ”
“ I'm Sleeping ”, “ Why are you Here? ”, “ Just Knock 3 Times ”. The words gave me chills down my spine to be honest, it's eerie. “ Don't Step on the Body ”. Like who the heck will write words like that?. I look around and make sure that no one followed me.
“ well, here goes nothing ” I thought to myself.
*Knock Knock Knock *
“ come in! ” Amari shouted from inside her room.
I slowly opened the door, and was surprised by what I saw, her usual books is gone, most genres that she likes to read is fantasy, sci-fi and Greek mythology, but it was now replaced with I think thriller, mystery and Paranormal. I glanced at her and I saw that she's watching a movie.
I slowly walked up behind her, hindi ko inaalis Ang mga tingin ko sa tv nya, and I wish I never looked, Ang movie na pinapanood nya ay murder. Gosh, when did she became interested in this kind of movies?!.
“ Amari! ” bawal ko dito
But she didn't even flinch, nor get scared of my voice, huh, ano kaya pumasok sa utak nito at na curious sa mga ganito?.
“ What Are you Doing?! ” tanong ko dito na may halong Galit, she's just 9! How can she watch this?!
“ Ate, don't panic, it's just a movie anyways ” kalmado nitong tugon .
“ what if mom and dad found out? ” tanong ko dito
“ they wouldn't , trust me ” Saad nito
“ okay ” tangi Kong naisagot
Bago pa man ako makaalis, tinawag nya ako, nagulat naman ako dahil sobrang weird na ng ikinikilos nya sa totoo lang, ako 'yung kinakabahan para sa kaniya.
“ Ate ” Saad nito
“ Yes? ” tugon ko
“ I just wanted to know why are you here? ” tanong nito
“ ah nothing, just wanting to you know check on you ” tugon ko
“ alright ” tanging sagot nito
Dali Dali ako nagpunta sa pintuan at biglang lumabas, narinig ko pa syang may sinabi pero hindi ko na ito pinansin. Naweweriduhan na talaga ako sa kaniya, naninibago na ako.
END OF KIA'S POV
Nakarating na si Kia sa kaniyang kwarto, nilock nya Ang pinto, naupo sya sa kaniyang higaan, napaisip sya kung sino ba ang nagimpluwensya Kay Amari na manood Ng ganun o magbasa, o kahit out of curiosity.
Tinawagan nya ngayon Ang best friend nya na si Chelsea, childhood best friend nya ito, kaya't kilalang Kilala na nila Ang isa't Isa.
“ hey what's up? ” tanong ni Chelsea sa kabilang linya
“ nothing just wanted to talk to you ” tugon ni JC
“ sure what about? ” tanong ni Chelsea muli
“ we'll have you experienced something lalo na sa family member mo na may nagbabasa o nanonood Ng murder? ” tanong ni Kia
“ of course, but it's just a joke, we felt relieved matapos nyang sabihin na it's just a prank, it's my cousin Austin who did it ” paliwanag ni Chelsea
“ ah okay ” tanging tugon ni Kia
“ what's wrong? Is something bothering you? ” tanong ni Chelsea dito
“ no, of course ” tugon ni Kia
“ dapat magaling ka maglie Kia, palibhasa kasi you grew up being very honest to your parents ” Ani Chelsea
“ fine fine, may napapansin lang kasi ako sa kapatid ko ” panimula ni Kia
“ what's that? ” tanong ni Chelsea
“ remember she's been addicted to books right? ” tanong nito Kay Chelsea
“ yes, what seems to be the problem about that? ” tanong naman ni Chelsea dito
“ well, she's still addicted in reading books, but now, she's starting to be addicted in watching movies ” Saad ni Kia
“ huh? Ano naman problema dun girl? Eh magmula noon adik na si Amari sa pagbabasa, nadagdag lang iyang panonood nya Ng movies ” komento ni Chelsea
“ Sis! That's not normal ” Saad ni Kia
“ Teka Teka, what do you mean that's not normal? ” tanong ni Chelsea
“ those books and movies.....it's all about MURDER ” tugon ni Kia
“ Shit ” tanging sambit ni Chelsea
“ I know ” Ani Kia
“ when did this start? ” tanong ni Chelsea
“ I dont know, kanina lang nadatnan ko sya nanonood, 'yung mga books nya sa shelves na puro fantasy,romance,sci-fi at fiction wala na, nakatabi na. Puros murder and horror stuff, pati rin lagayan nung mga movie na pinapanood nya napalitan na din, I don't know what's happening on my sister, this is not normal ” paliwanag ni Kia
” weh? Ay Hala, wait alam ba 'yan ni Tito't Tita? ” tanong ni Chelsea
“ nope, and I don't know kung papaano ko sasabihin, Malay ko ba baka may napulot si Amari na kung ano sa mga pinapanood nya o binabasa tapos Gawin sakin ” Ani Kia
“ that's trueee, but do you think may nag influence sa kanya? ” takang tanong ni Chelsea
“ no chels, hindi kasi masyadong socialize si Amari, nasanay kasi sya sa presence Ng mga pinsan namin, kaya siguro ayun, binaling na lang atensyon nya sa panonood at pagbabasa Ng ganung bagay ” tugon ni Kia
“ huh that's strange, wait kapag ba may mga disturbing scenarios in movie man o book, may reaction sya? Or may comment? ” dagdag na tanong ni Chelsea
“ that's a great question, No, wala syang reaksyon o comment at all, hindi ko nga alam pano nya nasisikmura 'yung Ganon eh, Ang tatag nya as in ” Saad ni Kia
“ that's weird to be honest, especially at a very young age ” Saad ni Chelsea
“ yeah you're right, it's really weird ” Ani Kia
“ Seems like, it's her routine? ” tanong ni Chelsea
“ maybe? But one thing I know for sure that this is not normal ” Saad ni Kia
“ it somewhat, weird, yes, a weird habit ” dagdag nya pa.
Having a sister like Amari is fun, but boy look at her now, being addicted to MURDER MOVIES AND BOOKS THAT INCLUDES MURDER? , What kind of a normal person would be addicted to those? I'm starting to suspect that there's a deep meaning or reason why Amari's been addicted.
Not all siblings will tell you something, will tell you the reason, will tell you the TRUTH. Some of them are afraid to say it, but they're some who is great at hiding it.
I wonder why, would Amari be able to apply those things that she watches/read? If so, what would happen? Will the flow of the story will change? There's only one thing to find out peeps!
