Chapter 30: Jelly-sami

The two best friends laughed at each other. They followed Asami and Mako and they strolled around talking about the crazy things they did back in the Southern Water Tribe. Mako and Asami were just few steps away from Korra and Bolin. So they could see the laughters and happiness of the two. Asami couldn't stand longer near them because of the unexplainable irritation she felt whenever she heard their laughters. She had this expression wherein her face turned red because of irritation. While the fire bender continued to say sweet things to Asami as part of his courting movements. But the heiress' attention was with Korra. Even though Asami cannot see her, she can hear her voices. The heiress don't know why she's irritated when she heard Bolin and Korra's laughters. Even though you can notice that there are no romantically involved between the two of them because they just acted like best friends. Not a boyfriend-girlfriend thing.

"Asami, are you okay? Why you looked angry?" Mako asked clueless.

"Uhh. Yeah I'm fine." Asami replied. The fire bender just smiled and continue his stupid compliments for Asami to say Yes to him. Although Asami was a little annoyed to him because he's talking too much. So she just rolled her eyes and looked away.

"Korra! Look! Ice cream!" Bolin exclaimed. Korra raised an eyebrow as she was dragged excitedly by Bolin. He was like a child running towards the Ice cream stand. While Mako and Asami looked at them because of Bolin's loud voice. the two best friends left the Ice cream stand holding chocolate ice creams. They happily got back to their seats and enjoyed the cold ice cream. The CEO continued to stare at them while raising her eyebrow. Her face almost turning red because of annoyance. Then she noticed Bolin glanced at her and gave her a teasing smirk before he turned to Korra who was licking her ice cream. Asami's annoyance became deep and she just crossed her arms and turned to Mako.

"Hey, are you okay? You're turning red Asami." Mako said concerned as he touched Asami's shoulder. The CEO removed his hand on her shoulder and looked away.

"I'm fine Mako. I-I'm hungry." the heiress said.

Meanwhile.....

"Korra, I saw Asami staring at us while her eyebrows met." Bolin whispered before he giggled. "It's working!" He added before giving the avatar a devilish smile.

"Don't do that smile Bo. You're creepy." Korra teased. Bolin pouted like a child. Korra just laughed at her best friend's funny reaction.

"Guys, come on let's eat. Asami's hungry." Mako called them. the best friends just exchanged glances from each other before they followed Mako in the car. Korra tried not to throw any glance to Asami because it makes her enter an awkward situation because Asami will stare straight in her eyes and she couldn't stand that. So she walked towards the car looking at the ground.

"So, where are we going?" Bolin asked.

"Restaurant of course." Asami answered sarcastically. Bolin just smirked because he knew why Asami acted like that to him. He looked teasingly at Korra. The avatar just rolled her eyes.

"Kwangs Gu please? I love the food there!" Bolin exclaimed. The two girls' eyes went wide. Korra didn't remember she mentioned to Bolin that Kwangs is one of their memorable places. Oh come on, why is it always in our places? Asami thought. she had no choice but to drive to Kwangs Gu because Mako agreed too. But Korra continued to stay quiet. As they arrived at the classy restaurant, Bolin excitedly hopped out on the car.

"Woah. Relax Bo." Mako said as he chuckled.

"You'll gonna love the food here Korra. It's so delicious!" Bolin exclaimed. He really looks hungry.

"Yeah I know Bolin." Korra giggled.

"You've been here before? With whom?" Bolin asked while smirking. Asami's eyes went wide because she herself took Korra to that restaurant. While Korra gave Bolin a death glare. The earth bender just smirked harder and walked inside. Mako raised his eyebrow, still confused about the happenings around him.

"Ehem. So.. Let's get inside Mako." Asami said awkwardly and grabbed her 'date'. Korra just looked down and followed them. Bolin already got a table for four. They saw him sitting and waiting for them. Korra was about to sit beside Bolin when he stopped her.

"Oops. No, no. You sit in front of me my lady. Mako, sit here beside me so we're facing our dates. It would be sweet." Bolin said. Although Mako and Asami didn't noticed, Korra saw a smirk on Bolin's lips. So their seating arrangement was Asami and Korra were sitting next to each other and the brothers were the same. Korra controlled herself and just released a deep sigh before she sit. While Asami looked away as she awkwardly sit beside Korra. Spirits this is REALLY awkward. Wait until we're home you little earth bender jerk. Korra thought.

"There. Perfect! Now Mako, call the waiter because I'm really hungry." Bolin said. Bolin looked in front of him and he saw an angry avatar glaring at him. He just smirked and winked at Korra. The avatar rudely stepped on Bolin's feet under the table that made the earth bender yell.

"Ouch! That hurts!" Everyone looked at him with confusion.

"Uhh. N-Nothing. I felt something bite my feet." Bolin lied. Then he gave Korra a death glare. The avatar smiled devilishly.

"So what do you want to eat?" Mako asked Asami sweetly as he put his hand above Asami's. The CEO smiled.

"You choose for me." Asami replied. Korra secretly glanced at Asami with hurt and sadness in her eyes. Bolin noticed it and it just gave him another naughty idea. He quickly tapped his brother's arm and pointed at something in the Menu that his brother was holding.

"Mako! Look! Isn't that Grandma's favorite food?" Bolin said. Mako looked at him surprised and just glared at him. He smiled and turned to Korra.

"Hey beautiful woman, would you like to try my favorite food here?" Bolin asked her sweetly and in suave tone. Korra awkwardly smiled.

"Uhh. S-Sure. I guess?" The avatar said. Bolin showed Korra different dishes in the Menu while he's holding Korra's hand. Korra sighed and just ride on Bolin's 'new thing'. Bolin was smirking while talking to Korra because he could see in his peripheral vision that the heiress rolled her eyes and crossed her arms while looking at them. Well Mako started to order their meal to the waiter he called earlier.
