Chapter 25: I won't give up (Part One)

The avatar never broke her word. She stayed all night outside Asami's mansion. Even if it's cold outside, Korra ignored it. That's how much she love the heiress. Asami couldn't help but to get nervous because she knew that Korra has one word. She barely sneeked out in her window to check if Korra is still outside. And she's not wrong, the avatar is sitting outside and embracing herself. Asami wanted to forgive her. Her heart says it. She's not a meanie or something. But her mind tells her that she must hate Korra. What will she do? What will she choose? Her heart? Or mind? The heiress sighed and caressed her forehead after seeing Korra's starting to freeze because the snow started to fall from the sky. Her heart is hard as a stone now. It is filled with anger and hatred. This is your fault, Korra. You made me like this. She whispered. Her eyes became watery because of the thought. She fought herself from worrying about her ex-girlfriend. Yes, she followed her mind.

"Tenzin, do you think talking to Asami would be this long? It's almost midnight and it's also snowing outside. Korra's not home yet." Pema said with worried tone.

"I'm actually thinking the same thing. We have to check. Bumi, Kya, and Jinora will come with me. Pema, look after Rohan and the kids. We'll be back later." Said the master. The non-bender just nodded and the four made their way to the skybison hall.

"Oogie, Yip Yip!" Tenzin shouted.

"Where do you think is Korra?" Bumi asked.

"We'll check on Asami's place." Tenzin said. They arrived at the Sato mansion and infront of the gate, there was Korra. Still embracing herself because of cold.

"Korra!" Tenzin shouted and they rushed to Korra. The avatar looked at them weakly. Kya touched her forehead and the waterbender felt that she's hot.

"Korra, you're sick! Come on let's get you home." Kya said. Bumi was about to lift her but she rejected.

"N-No. I'm okay. I'm not going anywhere until Asami talked to me. I-I wont give up Tenzin. I can beat this cold. I lived at the Southern Water tribe for years." Korra said starting to cry. And Now she began to cough.

"Korra, No. You can go back here when you're healed. Korra don't do this to yourself." Jinora said.

Meanwhile....

Asami woke up because of the loud noises outside. She was about to ignore it but she heard familiar voices.

"Korra, come on! Your fever is too high!"

"Korra, are you planning to kill yourself? Where's Naga?!"

"Did Asami even know you're here? How could she let you suffer here?"

The heiress' eyes went wide. Those voices were Tenzin, Bumi, and Kya. She rushed up to the window and saw the three and Jinora convincing Korra to go home. But in the end, Korra gave up and let them take her. Asami can see Korra's exhausted by the expression of her face. She wants to run outside and hug Korra. She missed her hug, her kiss, and her beautiful smile. The CEO went back to her bed and cry. She hated crying because of Korra. But she can't control it. She love that girl.
