Chapter 32: Vanished?

"Korra? Korra come on, breakfast is ready." Pema called as she knocked at Korra's room. She got no answer from the avatar so she opened the door. She gasped as she saw that Korra's not in her room. She entered the room and looked around in confusion. She left and headed to the dining room to ask if someone has seen Korra.

"Hey. Has anyone seen Korra? She's not in her room. Even Naga's not there." Pema said worriedly.

"What? How could she's not there? It's just 7 o'clock in the morning!" Tenzin exclaimed. Kya gasped and covered her mouth with a realization. She nervously looked at Tenzin and the air bender quickly understand her. They rushed up to Korra's room and opened her cabinets.

"Oh no." Tenzin said as he found that her clothes was gone and the drawers were empty. No letter, no notes. Tenzin and Kya exchanged glances from each other.

"Bolin?" Jinora called from outside of Asami's mansion. Ikki and Meelo started to knock at the door. Asami was the one to open it.

"O-Oh. Jinora, Ikki, Meelo. What are you doing here?"

"Hi. uhh. Asami? Is Bolin here?" Jinora asked shyly. the heiress smiled.

"Oh. Yes yes he's here. Come in, I'll just call him." Asami said before she left the three. Meelo raised his eyebrow and whispered to his sister.

"Why is Asami kind to us and not to Korra?" Ikki's eyes widened and quickly covered her brother's mouth.

"Shush! Don't say that Meelo." Ikki said. Meelo just rolled his eyes.

"Jinora? Ikki? Meelo? Why are you here?" Bolin asked.

"B-Bolin. It's Korra." Jinora said sadly. Bolin's expression changed.

"What? What about Korra?" Bolin said in worried tone.

"S-She's gone." the earth bender's eyes went wide.

"W-What?! What do you mean gone?" Bolin exclaimed but still worried.

"Come on, let's get back to the temple." Jinora said. Bolin just nodded and quickly left the house. As the door closed, the heiress covered her mouth and tears fell down on her cheeks as she realized what was she heard about.

"Tenzin! What happened?!" Bolin exclaimed as he ran inside the temple. Tenzin stood up.

"I-I don't know. We just found her drawers and cabinets were empty. Her clothes were gone and no letter or note." Tenzin explained. Bolin face-palmed and started panicking.

"Bolin, Relax. We'll find her okay?" Bumi said.

"Uhh! What was she thinking?! I shouldn't have told her what I saw!" Bolin exclaimed and slapped his head.

"Don't blame yourself." Kya said calmly.

"I should tell them." Bolin said very serious. Tenzin raised his eyebrow.

"Who?"

"Mako and Asami. I'll be back later." Bolin said as he left. Tenzin just sighed.

Bolin slapped the door closed very loud. His eyebrows met that means he's angry. He headed upstairs to his room but his brother called him.

"Hey bro, what's up? Are you mad?" Mako said curiously. Bolin closed his fists and faced his brother.

"I want to know, is Asami your girlfriend?!" Bolin exclaimed in the face of his brother. Mako gasped because he never saw Bolin angry like this. Asami heard the noise so she ran at the living room and saw the brothers glaring at each other.

"W-What? No!" Mako said. Bolin laughed bitterly.

"No? I saw you kissed her! And of course I told Korra because I don't want her to assume!" Bolin yelled. Mako frowned.

"What are you talking about?!" Mako yelled back.

"S-Stop!" Asami shouted and went between the brothers.

"Don't worry, Asami. Korra's gone. She'll never bother you two again." Bolin said coldly and walked away. Asami cried silently and looked at the confused fire bender.

"I'm sorry Mako. Sorry for not telling you. Korra.. S-She's my ex-girlfriend." Asami said almost whispering. Mako's eyes widened and stared at the crying heiress in front of her.

The avatar sighed as she stood up. She grabbed all her clothes and put in a backpack. She cried quietly as she hugged her Polar Bear Dog. Naga looked at her as if asking why.

"I'm going girl. Don't worry. I'll be back soon." Korra said while crying. The polar dog licked her face and pushed her lightly. she just smiled and hugged her pet again. She looked outside and saw that the sun wasn't rising yet. It's dawn and she needs to leave before anyone will see her. She tied a small letter on Naga's back before she left silently. The polar bear dog barked as she can't see her owner anymore. She stood up and jumped out of the window to follow her owner. But Korra was gone. Naga jumped to the water because she saw movements under the water. Of course she thought it was the avatar so she jumped and swam. The movements were headed to the city so the polar dog continued to follow it. As Naga reached the city, she didn't saw her owner. She sadly laid down and closed her eyes. The letter was gone in her back, she did not noticed it was removed under the water.
