Chapter 2: Second Meeting (POVs)

Asami's POV

It was two weeks ago when I met the girl in the park. I'm so stupid! I didn't even asked her name! I wish I could see her again and befriend her. I owe her a lot. She made me feel better when I was in pain. My father, still convincing me to marry a girl. Psh. Whatever happens I will not MARRY HER. Well, I'm just focusing myself for work. A lot to do with my dad's company. I wonder why he invented Mecha suits. I was currently relaxing in my office while reading some files about the engines. Oh, and I forgot to tell you, I'm the CEO of Future Industries. That's why I have an office. I glanced at the wall clock  and it's 12:30 in the afternoon. Finally, Lunch time! I decided to go in a restaurant near the City's park. When my eyes landed at the park, I remember the girl I met two weeks ago. I've always wanted to see her again. And maybe hang-out with her.

Korra's POV

I've just finished my airbending training with Tenzin here at Air temple island. My parents knew that I'm here. They even radio me here but I don't want to talk to them. I'm sure the topic will be about the marriage again. Can't they understand the meaning of 'I don't want to' ? Now I'm here resting while watching Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo who's playing Airbending race. I looked at Republic City from here and I remembered the girl again that I met two weeks ago. She never got out of my mind. I don't know why I'm thinking of her. I'm always praying that I'd see her again. I decided to go to the city. I won't tell Tenzin, I'll be back anyway. I just want to stroll around the city. I called Naga and we went to the shore. How about we'll just swim to Republic city? I had no choice. There's no boat here. As we reached the city, I noticed the people of republic city were looking at us. Their expression is weird. But I don't care about it. I just ignored them. Then, we arrived at the park. For the hundredth time I remembered the girl again. (No, she was always on my mind) The bench where I saw her crying and the flowers around it. I walked towards it and sat down. I smiled as Naga followed me and sat beside me. I closed my eyes as the flashback of the events that night came into my mind.

Asami's POV

I'm reading some files I brought while eating. But it seems I'm not in the mood right now for work. I'm about to finish my food when I saw the girl I met sitting in the bench where we sat that night. My eyes and smile widened as I paid the bill and left the restaurant. I ran across the street that leads to the park.  I didn't approached first. I suddenly felt a little shy. But she's kind and she'll understand if I approached her. Her eyes are closed but she's smiling.

Korra's POV

I was sitting here peacefully. I reminisced the time when I saw her. I looked like an idiot here because I'm smiling all by myself and my eyes are shut. I can't fight it. I can't control myself. I'm happy thinking her. And I think..... I like her.

"Uhhm. Excuse me?"

It seems someone's talking to me. I opened my left eye and saw the girl. Wait. Am I dreaming or something? I finally opened both of my eyes. I looked at her with blank expression. Nah I must be dreaming. Why would she be here? That's impossible. There are thousands of people in this city. I must have my hallucination.

"Urrgh! Why were you always in my mind? I can't stop thinking about you since we met!" I shouted out of nowhere. She looked surprised.

"You know what woman? You're driving me crazy! I don't know why I'm thinking about you! Now your soul showed up to me!" Her shocked expression changed. Then suddenly she's controling her.... laughter?

"Hey, stranger. You're not dreaming." then she giggled.

Wait... WHAT? My eyes widened as I looked around. I didn't see Naga. I looked at this girl with embarassment. Urgh! Idiot! Idiot!

"I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do t-that!" I said. What am I doing? She chuckled.

"It's okay. Now get up." She said while offering me her hand and still controling her laughter. Psh. I don't even noticed I fell off to the ground!  I took her hand and stood up.

"I-I'm really sorry about that." I said while caressing my nape. I'm really embarassed!

"I told you, it's okay." she said. but she's still controling her laughter.

"Come on, lady. let go of that laughter." I said while looking around. AWKWARD.

"I'm sorry. You're really cute when you're  blushing."

What? B-Blush? I looked down because I felt my face heat up.

"So, I forgot to ask your name when we met. I'm Asami. And you are?" She said offering her right hand, asking to shake mine. I took her hand and said,

"Korra. I'm Korra."

"Nice to meet you again Korra. So, Friends?" I smiled. I also wanted her to be my friend. Well, she's in my mind for two weeks! I'm excited to know more about her. I knew it.  I like this girl.
