***AFTER THREE YEARS***

"Korra! C'mere!"

"Just a minute dad!" Korra yelled back before rushing outside. "What is it?" The avatar asked her dad as she found him outside looking at the sun.

"It's your day. Happy Birthday my daughter." Tonraq said and pulled his daughter and hugged her tight. Korra was born on winter but miraculously the time she went out of her mother's womb, the sun rose up. Everyone in the Southern Water Tribe was amazed because of the sudden change of the season just because a water bender child was born. This gave them a hint that the child was special. And she was, the avatar herself. It happens every year in that month so they've considered it as Korra's birthday.

"Thank you, dad." Korra said and hugged her father back.

"Come on, you mother prepared a special lunch for the birthday girl." The southern chief said. The avatar happily nodded and made their way inside the house.

"Happy Birthday to my baby girl." Senna jokingly said and hugged her daughter.

"Oh come on mom. I'm 24 now. Stop calling me like that. It's embarrassing." Korra replied and pouted. Senna laughed and kissed the forehead of her pouting daughter. The family shared laughters while eating and they've decided to visit the Republic City after their lunch.

"Hey 'sami. Do you really have to go?" Bolin asked the heiress while pouting. Asami sighed and zipped her luggage.

"Yes. I'm sorry Bo, but I'll be gone in a week. Don't worry I'll be fine." Asami said smiling and tapped Bolin's shoulder. The earth bender pouted more and hugged the engineer like a child.

"Hmmm. I'm gonna miss you." Bolin whispered.

"I'm gonna miss you too." Asami replied.

"C'mon Bolin. We're all going to miss her. She just need some time with her father." Mako said and caressed his forehead. Bolin just gave him a death glare.

"So, I'm going now." Asami said and gave her luggage to one of their staffs to bring it to the Satomobile.

"Ohhhh. Don't leave us." Bolin said and jokingly wiped his invisible tears. But he hugged his friend for the last time.

"Stop over reacting bro. You're like-... Ugh!" He was interrupted by his brother because Bolin pulled him to join them in the hug. He just rolled his eyes but he hugged them still.

"Ms. Sato, your father was looking for you. You will be leaving the city." A staff came in and interrupt their group hug. Bolin and Mako escorted her to the car outside and did their last goodbyes.

"Don't forget to call us okay?" Mako reminded.

"Yes officer." Asami jokingly said and saluted to the cop. The driver started the engine and the car hit the road. They waved hands and watched the car left.

"Hey everyone! I have good news!" Tenzin yelled while running towards the living room. Everyone showed up and waited for him to continue.

"I've received a message from the Southern Water Tribe. It's Korra's birthday and Chief Tonraq said that he and his family will visit us here! And of course, Korra will go too!" Tenzin exclaimed excitedly. A big smile crossed on everyone's mouths. They cheered for happiness and begin to prepare the temple for the arriving of the avatar once again in the city after all these years.

"Dad, we must tell Mako and Bolin! They'll be happy to hear it!" Ikki suggested.

"We'll go tell them in the city." Jinora said. Tenzin agreed and let his children go. The three Air Benders headed to Asami's mansion. The brothers were still staying at their house and Hiroshi already agreed to let them stay because Asami pleased her father that they're just her best friends and she has nothing romantically involved with Mako.

"Bolin! Mako!" Meelo yelled and knocked at the door roughly. Bolin opened it and he was surprised to see them.

"Woah. What's wrong?" Bolin asked confused and opened the door wide. Mako followed his brother and also surprised to see the Airbender kids.

"Korra's arriving today!" Ikki exclaimed. Mako and Bolin's eyes went wide.

"W-Wait... Did you just said..?" Bolin asked confused but he was teary eyed. The three kids happily nodded. His smile went wide and he wiped off his tears and hugged his brother forcefully.

"HAHA! Yes! Korra's baaaack!" Bolin yelled while hugging his brother. Mako seemed to be annoyed to his brother but he won't blame him. He knows how much his brother missed Korra. Who wouldn't be? They're best of friends. Mako just smiled at the thought that the avatar would finally back in Republic City.

"Oh my spirits, why wouldn't you tell us earlier? Asami already left. I'm sure she'll be happy with the news. Too bad she won't know it." Bolin said sadly.

"We can tell her later bro." Mako said.

"Oh, yeah. Just call her okay? But noooow? Let's make a party for Korra! It's her birthday!" Bolin yelled excitedly.

"Yes. That's why we're here. We need you to help us prepare for Korra's arrival later." Jinora said. Bolin jumped for excitement.

"Of course! Come on!" Bolin said as he ran to Pepper and jumped onto his back.

"Come on Mako!" Bolin called. The three kids followed Bolin and climbed up to the bison. The fire bender laughed a little and closed the mansion's house. He jumped to Pepper and looked at his excited brother. He just shook his head.

"Alright. Let's go." Mako said.

"Pepper, Yip Yip!" Jinora shouted and the bison flew in the sky.
