"Korra! Oh my, you're okay!" Said the teary eyed earth bender as he hugged his best friend. The avatar just stared at him.

"Hey, what's the matter?" Bolin asked because he noticed that Korra didn't hugged him back and just stared at him. The long lost avatar just rolled her ocean blue eyes.

"I'm tired of this stupid hugs." she said and walked away. The earth bender raised his eyebrow and rubbed the back of his neck. He just watched his best friend walking away. Tenzin just tapped his shoulder.

"Did I said something wrong?" Bolin asked confused.

"No, Bolin. Ever since she's back, that's how she treated us. Emotionless and cold." Tenzin said and sighed. "We didn't know what happened to her." he added.

Bolin said to Tenzin that he'll be back later because Asami and Mako needs to know that the avatar is back. Bolin rushed to the mansion and called his brother and friend.

"Asami! Mako!" He yelled inside. he heard footsteps coming from the kitchen and it was Mako and Asami.

"What happened?!" Mako exclaimed.

"K-Korra.. Korra's back!" Bolin said. The heiress' eyes went wide. Tears came out of her eyes.

"Well, looks like it's the time you talk to her." Mako said turning to Asami.

"Oh, and Asami. there's only one problem." Bolin said sadly. he saw the CEO frowned.

"She changed a lot." Bolin added.

"Korra, can we talk?" Tenzin approached the meditating avatar.

"What now? Can't you see I'm meditating?" Korra replied, seemed to be annoyed. The air bender sighed.

"You really changed a lot. You hate meditating." Tenzin said sadly. Korra just sighed with annoyance and stood up.

"About what?" Korra said coldly.

"About you. Where have you been? Why you didn't tell us you were leaving?" Tenzin said. the avatar crossed her arms and rolled her eyes before she stared at her mentor.

"What? Are you kidding me? I left a letter on Naga's back!" Korra exclaimed. Tenzin was surprised.

"Bolin found Naga at the city the day you left six months ago. And there was no letter on her saddle." Tenzin explained. Korra looked away. "She must've followed me." korra said.

"What happened Korra? What happened to you? Why did you changed?" Tenzin asked sadly and with concern in his voice. the avatar frowned.

"What are you talking about?! There's nothing changed Tenzin. This is the real me!" Korra shouted and walked away from her mentor. Although there was a small drop of tear came out of her right eye.

"What do you mean 'changed a lot'?" Mako asked confused.

"You know, the stubborn, funny, and loving avatar we once knew, were gone. She became emotionless, cold, and lonely. She didn't even bother to play with the air bender kids like she used to. She changed a lot... Inside and out." Bolin explained sadly. Mako looked at the CEO with concern. He touched her shoulder and the non-bender looked at him. she then cried quietly.

"It's ... it's because of me." Asami said almost whispering.

"No it's not. It's her decision to change herself. It's not your fault Asami. Stop crying." Bolin said and pulled Asami for a friendly hug.

"So, what's your plan now?" Mako asked.

"I'm not really sure if I'm ready to face her. After all what I did to hurt her." Asami said still crying.

"Don't worry. We're here to support you." Bolin added and wiped off his friend's tears.

Bolin went back to the Air temple island after he delivered the news to the heiress. And as he reached the temple, he saw Tenzin and the others looked very sad. He raised his eyebrows and turned to them.

"Hey everyone, what's the matter?" Bolin asked in confusion.

"Bolin, where's Asami? She needs to see Korra as soon as possible." Kya said and ran towards him.

"W-Why? Where is she? Did something happened to her?" Bolin said with worried tone.

"We don't know. She left again, and we just found this on her bed." Kya said as she handed Bolin a piece of paper. Bolin took it and raised his eyebrow. He silently read Korra's letter. After reading it, his eyes went wide.

"Oh no. It can't be."

"Bolin, go get Asami. She needs to know!" Tenzin yelled. Bolin nodded and ran away to his boat. He's headed to the city again. he opened the door of the mansion with the letter and Asami walked towards him.

"Bolin.. I need to ask you something. Can you help me talk to Korra? Because-.."

"Asami! I'm sorry but I think you're too late." Bolin said sadly. the heiress frowned and raised her eyebrow.

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm here to help you. But Here, This is the explanation. It's a letter from Korra. She left that in her bedroom before she disappeared in the temple." Bolin said and nervously gave the letter to the confused heiress. she read it and suddenly her tears came out on her eyes. She crumpled the paper and kneeled down. Bolin catch her and hugged her tight. She cried harder and harder as she crumpled the paper.

"No... She's not!" Asami yelled and burst out of crying hard. Mako rushed to them and saw the heiress lying on the floor crying.

"What happened?!" Mako asked his brother. Bolin just looked at him. He too, was now crying for his two best girl friends. Mako understood his brother and just caressed Asami's back. He noticed the crumpled paper beside the heiress so he picked it up and read what's written on it.

"Tenzin, here I left a letter. I'm going back to the South Pole to do my destiny. I will do what my parents want me to do. I radio them earlier that I'm coming home and agreed to their stupid fixed marriage. Please tell Bolin I'm leaving. I don't want him to worry about me. -Korra"
