It's been a couple days since sage moved here and the winter break has finally started. Since I had to work she just spent the days unpacking her clothes, she's also waiting for all of the boxes she shipped over.

Since I didn't give them any tests or homework the last few days I went home right after making sure the kids were all gone and she would greet me with dinner in just a bra and sweat pants.

This is something I can get use to. "Awe thank you baby" I smile hugging her after I walked through the door. "I like cooking for you" she smiles happily.

"I gotta wife you up" I joke pulling her closer. She smirks "one day" she says. "Yeah?" I ask. She nods resting her forehead on mine "yeah" she whispers.

After she kisses the tip of my nose we sit and eat the early dinner she made. "Oh my gosh this is amazing" I moan out after a few bites. She smiles looking proud "thank you love" she says.

Grabbing her hand I kiss it after swallowing the food. "I love you" I whisper. "I love you too" she whispers back. We finish eating and while we're doing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen there's a knock on the door.

"I'll get it" she says going over and checking the peep hole before opening the door. Both claire and my sister come walking in. "We brought alcohol!" Claire cheers.

She stops and looks at who opened the door, we've been too busy with being in love I forgot to tell claire and I'm guessing my sister didn't tell her either. "Sage oh my god, you're here!" She says.

My sister looks at me "you didn't tell her?" She asks. "I forgot!" I say in defense. "I actually told her I'd be here before christmas but not exactly when" sage says.

Claire nods "yeah I didn't expect her to be here a week before christmas I thought she'd get here a couple days before" she says. "Nope! I've been here a few days" sage says.

I nod pulling her in close "maybe go put on a shirt" I whisper. "Oh shoot thanks for the reminder" she says dipping over to our room. The girls get comfortable and sit on the couch. Sage comes back and we finish up in the kitchen before joining my sister and claire in the living room.

"So when are you guys moving to the apartment?" My sister asks. "There's only a couple months left on the lease so once its up we're done here" I answer.

The next few months go by quickly, new years comes and then sage starts her job and I start teaching again.

We've slowly started packing up the apartment so we aren't rushing to get everything done on the moving day which is today.

Sage woke up before I did and got us coffee and breakfast so we aren't tiredly packing the moving truck. Joseph, claire, my sister and my mom all help us pack up the moving truck.

It's fully packed all before noon "can I take the truck?" Joseph asks. "Yeah I'll text you the address of the new apartment" I reply tossing him the keys. He catches them and Claire joins him in the truck while sage and I take my car, and my sister and mom go in my sisters car.

Before driving I quicky text them each the address and we drive all the way over to the new apartment, it's a bit closer to the school but I still have to drive.

My contract with the school is up at the end of this school year so I will be transferring to a new school but I'll still be teaching 4th grade.

We get to the apartment building and get out opening the moving truck up right away. Joseph starts carrying heavy things up on his own after I tell him what floor and unit number.

Claire and my mom stay at the truck organizing what room it all goes to and instructing while the rest of us carry everything up. Thank god for the elevator.

It's not long before we are tiredly sitting in the living room eating pizza and drinking. I look around and smile, everyone I love is right here with me and I couldn't be happier although i do think sage's parents should also be here.

She kisses my cheek lovingly and I smile "this is our home" she says. I nod and bite the inside of my lip "yes it is" I whisper back.

Our thoughts are interrupted with a congratulations coming from my mom. "Thank you all so much for helping out, we can do the unpacking it might take us a while" I joke.

Sage laughs wrapping her arm around my waist pulling me closer. "It sure will, I wanna do things in each room" she whispers in my ear. "Is that ok with you?" She whispers.

I nod completely forgetting what was going on. "Of course we'd help" claire says. "I can take the moving truck in for you" Joseph offers. "Oh uh thanks dude" I say moving to grab the keys and sages arm falls from around my waist.

"Here uh thank you" I say. He nods and they leave a few minutes later. My mom and sister look at the both of us as we stand together, she's behind me with her arm around my waist and a smile on her face.

My mom smiles looking proud "I'm so happy for you both" she says. Her face turns serious for a second looking over at my girlfriend of pretty much 2 years almost 3. "And sage, thank you for making my daughter happy" she says.

Her hand rubs my side gently and I can tell she's nervous. "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else" she says. "I love her more than words can describe" she adds. My sister smiles in approval even though she liked sage.

The thumping in my chest continues as sage tells my mom and sister how much she cares about me and loves me. "I honestly can't wait to marry her someday" she finishes causing me to smile and the butterflies to erupt in my stomach.

I look over at my mom and sister, they both hold different looks on their faces but both happy. My sister with a huge grin on her face and my mom looks like she might cry. "You're already apart of this family sage" she says.

My sister nods in agreement "yeah, I never thought I'd get another sister" she says. I laugh rolling my eyes and they leave a few minutes later.

The first night in our new apartment consisted of unpacking boxes until we were too tired and then sitting in the living room half naked drinking wine and making out.

It's been a couple weeks since we moved into the apartment and we've gotten comfortable pretty quickly. We managed to get a two bedroom with nice closet space and 2 bathrooms, only one connected to a bedroom which will be ours.

The rest is an open concept, the kitchen has a nice island which seats 4 maybe even 6 people and it looks off into the living room. I'm so beyond happy that this is my life.

After a long day of marking tests after work I come through the door. "Babe I have a present for you!" Sage says. I look over in the direction her voice came from and she's coming towards me with a big box.

"Here, open" she says. I place it on the island and open it slowly. Sage's love laungage is gift giving so she spoils me. I didn't expect a kitten to pop it's head out of the box when I opened it.

She smiles cheerfully "surprise! I got us a kitten!" She says. I look down in disbelief and smile grabbing the kitten gently. She got me a black cat that has white paws. "Oh my god babe you didn't have to do this" I tell her.

The kitten falls asleep quietly in my hand and I instantly fall in love with it. "I thought we needed a member" she says. I smile and kiss her deeply "thank you I love you" I tell her.

For the rest of the night we end up playing around with the kitten and making sure he eats. We also figured out a name for him. She wants boots or sock but i suggested a human name like Kevin so we comprised on Bobby.
