My alarm wakes me up and I groan moving from my bed to the bathroom, after peeing and washing my face I tiredly walk into the kitchen and make a French press full of coffee.

"Hell yeah" I whisper after taking a sip. I don't work until noon today so I sit on my couch with my coffee and i decide to put on greys. Claire and I have both watched it so many times it doesn't really matter if I watch it without her.

A couple hours go by and I finish this coffee before getting ready. I dance around my bathroom with my music playing then I finish up my makeup.

While I'm making breakfast the buzzer goes off and I raise my eyebrows in confusion. "Uh hello?" I ask. "Hey kai its me" shawn replies. "Oh uh I'm about to leave for work I'll come down" I let him know. "Ok" he says.

I grab everything I need and head out, he's standing and waiting by a car like he did when he first picked me up. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "Couldn't help but think of last night" he says.

My heart thumps and I sigh, I'm completely over him and last night felt like the closure we both needed. "I'm sorry shawn" I start. "You're not looking for anything, I forgot" he sigh. I nod "yeah, I'm sorry it's just last night felt like closure" I say.

He nods looking down at his feet "I understand, do you want a ride? Save gas" he says. "Claire's off before I am so I've gotta drive myself thank you for the offer though" I say.

Before the deafening silence gets too loud he says bye and gets in his rental and speeding away. I run my hand through my hair "good job" I tell myself.

I blast my music while I'm on my way to the shop and scream the lyrics. "Don't blame me, love made me crazy

Claire's making drinks as I get there and I quickly start helping her and I put some muffins in the oven in the back before another crowd comes through.

Since moving it's gotten busier over the weekends, we even had to add a couple more tables. Claire and I work as a duo for a couple hours before Harrison comes in so claire can go home.

"So I heard shawn was back in town" he says. "Where'd you hear that?" I ask. "Claire" he says. I nod "ah huh, yeah we hung out last night" I reply. "And? Did you get closure?" He asks. I nod "yeah, I think it's time to look" I reply.

He gets hyped for me and starts telling me what apps are good and what apps are bad. I sigh "calm down horsey" I say. He stops moving and looks at me "fine" he says then goes back to working.

I smile and start taking orders as a small crowd comes in. There's about an hour and a half until we close when they all leave and we start cleaning everything.

A few people come in and go before we close. Harrison walks me to my car incase any weirdos are outside "have a good night bestie" he says. I laugh as he walks away and I start my drive home.

When I open the door I can hear claire and joseph talking in the kitchen. "Hey we ordered a bunch of sushi, I made sure we got your favourites" claire said. "Oooh what did you get me?" I ask. "California roll since you don't like raw fish and crab rangoons" she says.

"Delicious" I say sitting at my spot. My phone buzzes and I look at my phone briefly then I put it down.

They both go to sleep a couple hours later since they're having a full day of fun just the two of them. I stay up watching grey's anatomy and editing an essay I'm writing to get into a night class to get a math degree.

Not too sure why they want me to write an essay but here I am writing an essay. The season I'm on ends going into the next one. I finish up the essay and then realize what time it is and how many episode I've watched.

I finally check my phone and realize that it was sage messaging me earlier when I was eating. My heart thumps as I read the messages.

                             Sorry I've been gone
                             I couldn't sleep
                             Wish you were mine

My thumbs take over and I message her back as my heart thumps. I put my phone back down and focus on the episode. 3am approaches and I tiredly walk to my room.

Before I fall asleep I check my phone one last time. A text from shawn and a message from sage.

From shawn: hey sorry for making it awkward earlier, I'm back in miami now

My tired eyes take over and I fall asleep completely in the middle of replying to sage.

Think we're about half way through the story or almost half way not too sure yet but I'll likely plan the rest so I don't get writers block
