*Sage's point of view*

It's a week and a half from christmas and my visa was approved a couple days ago, I know it usually takes longer for someone to get approved but my boss helped fast track it.

My flight is at 8am bst and with my calculations I should be surprising her at the school near the end of school day.

Thankfully I managed to get into contact with kai's sister and she is picking me up then with her extra key we're dropping everything I'm bringing off and then getting a few things to surprise kai with.

I've managed to pack my flat up on my own fairly quick, I sold and donated the bigger items that I can't easily bring over. My new boss is nice enough to let me start after the new year so I'm off until january 3rd. By 5am I'm out the door, kai thinks I'm sleeping still and I told her I've got a few meetings in the morning.

"Hello vlog it's my turn to vlog my travels, my work visa was finally approved so I am moving everything I own all the way to where kai is in California" I start. I stop filming and start driving, my parents are meeting me there and my dad is driving my car back so I can drive it when I come and visit again.

Traffic isn't much so i get there quickly, my parents are already there. I park beside them and get out, my mum pulls me into a tight hug "I'll miss you" she says. I frown "I know mum, I'll be sure to videochat with you when I'm settled" I reply.

She pulls away and helps my dad put my suitcases on a trolley. "Oh thank you dad" I say. "I'll miss you, tell kai we are excited to meet her" he says. I nod and they come in with me.

I check my bags and then hug them goodbye before going through security fairly quickly. There's about an hour until the flight when I get to my gate so I sit and impatiently wait. While I'm waiting kai messages me saying she can't sleep. It's only 11pm there.

Before I know it I'm getting on the plane and saying good bye to London for awhile. I'm not sure when I'll be here again. " a one way?" The attendant asks. I nod "yeah, my girlfriend lives there I'm finally moving there" I reply.

"Awe that's amazing" she replies. I nod and continue on getting to my seat, the window again.

The flight takes off a painfully long 20 minutes later and I get comfortable eventually falling asleep, hopefully kai doesn't freak out about me not saying anything for 10 and a half hours but I did lie and say I'm in meetings all day and will probably stay late.

*Kai's point of view*

After waking up and getting ready I finally check my phone, kai texted me again at what would've been 8am there to let me know she'll be in meetings all day and will probably be late so she'll be away from her phone.

There's only a couple days until the winter break starts and I'm thinking of flying out to london for Christmas since she isn't here yet and she hasn't heard anything about the Visa.

I finish eating breakfast and my coffee then I change into something comfortable but professional before leaving for work.

A few hours go by and around noon my sister texted me asking me what I want for dinner and my favorite flowers. A little weird.

To sista: uhhh idk wanna get in n out or chipotle? And uhhh pink Rose's?

During the last class theres a knock on the door and the student I put in charge of opening the door rushes over and opens it. "Miss kai! You have a visitor" he tells me.

I turn around since I'm at the white board and there I see Sage holding pink Rose's and a bag of what looks like different candies and my sister behind her filming. "Surprise!" She cheers.

Without giving it a second thought I run over hugging her tightly "best surprise ever" I whisper. She hugs me tightly "I'm never leaving again" she says. "Wait what?" I ask pulling away.

"My visa was approved a few days ago, I knew it would be so I started packing all of my stuff" she says. "Where is it all?" I ask still surprised she is here.

She smiles "the flat, your sister has an extra key so we dropped everything off" she answers. "I can't believe you're here" I say quietly.

After the chaos goes down she sits at my desk while i finish teaching them, my sister left after I gave her a hug since I've got my car. The bell goes and we don't stay long. "I can't believe you're here" I whisper again.

"Me too, I'm so happy" she whispers. "Hungry?" I ask her. "Starving" she replies. I nod and grab her hand driving over to chipotle. "My fav?" She asks.

I bite the inside of my lip and nod "yes" I whisper. She leans over and kisses my cheek "thank you baby" she whispers. I smile and look over at her during the red light "I love you so much" I whisper.

She smiles and kisses my hand "I love you more" she says. We get to chipotle and order our regulars plus chips and guac this time.

While I'm driving us home she starts her vlog. "I forgot to update you guys but I've landed and I'm now with kai" she says then shows me. I wave and smile "hi vlog!" I say. She smiles "so we've got chipotle and we're going home" she adds.

"Buttttt there is news! We are moving once the lease is up" I say. She nods "yes, we've secured a place we just need it to run out" she adds. "Exactly" I say.

She ends the vlog and we get home shortly after, her suitcases in the bedroom. She sits down on the couch and I get us some drinks before joining her. "What should we watch?" I ask her. "Can I look?" She asks. I nod handing her the remote.

After deciding on a show we watch it for the rest of the day. My mom texted asking if sage landed safely. "Did you tell my mom you were coming?" I ask. "Yeah of course I did" she replies.

I smile and kiss her cheek "thank you" I whisper finishing my food. I take our garbage to the bin in the kitchen "want some wine babe?" I ask her. "Sure love" she answers.

We go to bed around 1am and ignore her bags that need to be unpacked.
