James cracks an eye open when he feels himself waking up. A glance at his clock tells him he slept through the morning and it's now 1'o'clock in the afternoon.

"What the f..." James mumbles and rubs his eyes.

How did he sleep in so late?

With a groan, he sits up and flings his legs off the bed. Floof quickly takes the chance to lick at his toes, tail wagging frantically.

"Gah!— Floof!" James whines and lifts his legs up. "Don't do that."

Floof looks up at him with her derpy little eyes as if she doesn't understand why her owner rejected her greeting.

James stands up off the bed, avoiding his fluffy gremlin creature and heads to his office. He was supposed to be sending his animation team script and storyboard files to work on at 10am. James isn't know to be late to things. He's usually promptly on time. Sometimes even early. So he hopes his team doesn't lose respect for him because of... whatever made him sleep in? He honestly can't remember. And that makes him worry.
