Jin Ling, Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, and Ouyang Zizhen all watched in amazement as their friend, [Y/N], did tricks on the rings. He had invited them to come and watch him do his warmups and tricks for his upcoming completion. They had all been overjoyed to - Jin Ling tried to hide it but they all knew he was just as excited as they were - come and finally get to see him perform. And he didn't disappoint.
[Y/N] swung on the rings and let go, giving them all a heart attack. Ouyang Zizhen was ready to rush over and catch him if he fell (even if that meant being a human mattress). He flipped once before grabbing the rings again.

Jingyi and Jin Ling both awkwardly let each other go, coughing and looking away quickly. Sizhui exhaled, clutching his chest in worry. Ouyang Zizhen was glad [Y/N] was fine (also that he didn't need to be a human mattress).
[Y/N] let go and landed not so gracefully atop a (what do you call it?). He wobbled before falling off. The juniors all rushed forward but realized that he was fun. [Y/N] quickly flipped into a backflip and landed roughly against the stone wall.

They all came over to him, smiling.
"That was amazing [Y/N]!" Jingyi cheered loudly, waving his hands around wildly and dramatically. "You were all like WHA and WOOOH and BAM!"
Ouyang Zizhen couldn't stop smiling and gushing about how cool [Y/N] was. "I wish I could do that! You make it look so easy and flawless! OOHHH It was like you were flying! I want to fly! You looked like a bird! Like a robin!" He fangirled (er boy?).
[Y/N] smiled sheepishly. "Th-thanks guys.."
Sizhui smiled, he was more calm than the others. "You were amazing up there, [Y/N]. I hope you know just how great you truly are."
[Y/N] blushed, embarrassed. 'Oh Sizhui.. your such a cinnamon roll...'
Jin Ling sniffed, arms crossed. "I suppose you were okay..."
Jingyi and Zizhen gapsed. "Di-did I just hear that right?!" They looked at each other then back at the Jin who was already regretting saying anything. "DID YOU JUST COMPLIMENT [Y/N]?!" They screamed. Sizhui winced at their loudness.
[Y/N] laughed, smiling brightly. He patted Jin Ling's shoulder (and silently celebrated when the Jin didn't slap his hand away immediately like he usually did). "Thank you Jin Ling, you're too kind."
Jin Ling rolled his eyes. "Don't get sarcastic on me, [L/N]."
[Y/N] laughed, rolling his eyes. "Like you could do better."
Jin Ling scoffed. "Getting cocky, now are we? Don't try and steal my thing."
[Y/N] shrugged, grinning. "No promises <3"
