"Don't we look great!" [Y/N] clapped happily. They twirled around in their rainbow sweater and jean skirt with different patches on it. They grabbed the star earmuffs and put them on as well. "Isn't this just adorable?"
"[Y/N]... is this really necessary?" Jin Guangyao murmured quietly as he shrunk down trying to make himself even smaller than he already was. He wore a baby pink dress with fur on the hems of his sleeves and bottom of his dress. Even his normal hat had been traded for a Ushanka. And of course his boots also matched, having fur on them as well.
"Of course it is!" They grinned. "We look fabulous!"
Jin Guangyao's blush deepened. "I..."
"Now come on! We have some shopping to do!" They grabbed his arm, linking together with their own, and began to drag the poor man along with them and out of the house. [Y/N] kept close to Guangyao, chatting his ear off excitedly and with never ending enthusiasm.
Jin Guangyao, while deeply embarrassed and insecure, listened with a shy smile and cut in when he thought necessary.
"You definitely look good in a dress! Just like I predicted!"
"[Y/N]-"
"Huaisang was right- As always!"
"A-Sang?!" Guangyao should have known. The little gremlin always gets his way somehow.
[Y/N] laughed at his reaction. "Don't sound to annoyed Yaoyao," they teased. "People will start to think you don't like Huaisang. Which we all know isn't true!" Guangyao adored the kid along with his older sworn brothers.
"I just- Why did this even come up?!"
"Men in skirts are always cute!"
Guangyao blushed.
"Besides! It's fun to try something new! Now lets hurry and get some hot chocolate and tea before my nose falls off! It's too cold!"
Guangyao sighed, already over their antics. "Its really not that cold..."
"You have spent most of your time in Qinghe and Lanling! There winters are harsh!"
"Not as bad as Gusu."
"No.. not as bad as Gusu.." [Y/N] agreed solemnly.
"You also have been raised in a much warmer climate and are not used to the winters here," Jin Guangyao pointed out. He gestured to their warm clothing. It was rather much considering winter was only just beginning...
[Y/N] pouted. "Shush Yaoyao! Lets just hurry before I die!"
"Dramatic."
"Your one to talk!"
They both chose to ignore the stares and weird looks they were getting as they picked up the pace, wanting to get inside and have some warm tea and hot chocolate from their favorite cafe.
