"Can I give you a piggy back ride?"
Lan Xichen looked up, surprised. [Y/N] stared back at him, with large [E/C] eyes blinking 'innocently'.
"A-[Y/N]... I don't think you can pick me up...." He laughed nervously. "I think im..." he looked the short male up and down. "Too heavy for you..."
"Nonsense!" [Y/N] exclaimed, crossing his arms in a childish manner.
"Nonsense? A-[Y/N] I don't think you realize.."
"I can totally do it!" [Y/N] insisted, cutting Lan Xichen off.
The Lan's sweat dropped. He smiled weakly. "Alright... if you say so... Just... I don't want to crush you."
"It'll be fine!" [Y/N] grinned, getting into position, and Lan Xichen hesitantly jumped onto [Y/N]'s back. [Y/N] got a good grip before they were off, walking out of the lush forests in Cloud Recesses and making their way back home.
Lan Xichen blinked and stared dumbly at the [H/C] haired male currently carrying him. "Are you sure I'm not to heavy?"
"Xichen, I'm going to be honest with you. I've carried literal boulders before. Trust me, you light - and even then, those boulders were really light." [Y/N] deadpanned.
Lan Xichen's mind blanked. 'Boulders?' He could hear [Y/N] speaking again but it was muffled, like his ears were stuffed with cotton. 'Are we sure he isn't a Lan?'
"If you say so," he said instead.
"When we get back, we should do some gardening." [Y/N] suggested, grinning.
"Of course, if it makes you happy A-[Y/N]." Lan Xichen smiled.
