"Love..." Jin Guangyao muttered softly, caressing their cheek carefully with the back of his hand. Their eyes fluttered open tiredly as they looked up at their lover. They smiled weakly. "Hello A-Yao.." They whispered.
"Hi," Jin Guangyao smiled sadly. "How are you feeling?"
[Y/N] was silent, leaning into Guangyao's touch. "Tired... How are you?"
"I have been busy preparing for the discussion conference." The Jin informed. [Y/N]'s eyes widened. "Oh! Thats coming up already?" Guangyao nodded. Even if [Y/N] was growing weaker by the day, even if their skin was always a sickly pale color, even if [Y/N] could barely keep her eyes open half the time, even if [Y/N] could only speak in a whisper tone, and even if [Y/N] was coughing up blood, Jin Guangyao couldn't help but stare at them like they were the most beautiful thing in the world. They were his world. They would always be beautiful to him no matter what.
"Yes," he nodded. "But you shouldn't feel force to attend if you aren't able!" He added quickly.
[Y/N] laughed quietly and gently held their hand out. Guangyao put his own into theirs without question, intertwining their fingers. "Its alright A-Yao.. If I feel alright I shall attend with you."
Guangyao smiled and kissed them gently on the lips. "Get some rest alright dear? I want you to feel better."
[Y/N] smiled and kept the small thought to themself. 'A-Yao... I don't think I ever will get better...'

"Are you sure about this? You don't have to go! I can handle this alone. I don't want you straining yourself!" Guangyao fretted as he helped his lover get ready for the huge conference that was happening today.
[Y/N] laughed softly. They were feeling much better today and had decided to attend the conference with their lover. They weren't so sick looking, skin gaining some color back and they could walk and stand with the help of someone for longer periods of time than they normally could. "I'm alright A-Yao. You don't need to worry so much." They gently pushed his hand away and stood.
Guangyao waited with a bated breath, arms ready to catch them at any moment. When they didn't fall he grinned widely.
"See I told you~" [Y/N] sang smugly.
"Ah! [Y/N]!" Guangyao hissed in fake anger. His face was burning red in embarrassment but [Y/N] found it endearing. They loved to know that he cared so much.
