"Whats that on your head?" Jingyi asked as politely as he could.
Lan Xichen did a closed eye smile, not that anyone could see it. "[Y/N] was kind enough to make me a pumpkin head." His voice came out muffled. A nice, almost perfectly round, pumpkin sat upon his head with a smiling face with cat ears and whiskers carved into it.
"Mn?" Lan Wangji asked.
"Thats right Wangji," Lan Xichen laughed softly. "He did make it for my birthday! And [Y/N] also made you one."
Wangji's sweat dropped as he slowly walked away. "Wei Ying." Was all he said. Lan Xichen laughed from behind the pumpkin head.
"W-where is [Y/N]?" Jingyi asked, trying to hold in laughter.
Lan Xichen simply pointed behind him. The two Lans leaned over, peeking over Xichen's shoulder to see a [H/C] haired male curled up on the floor, clutching his stomach as he died of laughter. Tears streamed down his face as he continued to laugh and struggled to breathe.
"Oh..." Sizhui and Jingyi said unison.
"Mn." Xichen nodded, not feeling the least bit embarrassed. "I quite like my gift. [Y/N] always has such the creative approach with these types of things."
Jingyi's and Sizhui's sweat dropped, with Jingyi trying to hold back laughter as he slapped his hand over his mouth.
"H-happy birthday?" Sizhui offered weakly, not being able to look at Xichen properly.

▶ Hi! Small update, my right arm has been swollen for about week and I have no clue what I did! Its made it very difficult to write or draw or really do anything without it swelling more or me just being in pain or straining my arm, however I still have written this chapter for you <3 (that's also why its so short- my arm couldn't handle much more lmao-)
