"Pleaseeee!" [Y/N] begged, giving the Jiang puppy dog eyes.
Jiang Cheng, however, was stubborn as always and wouldn't give in. He closed his eyes tightly and stuck his nose up in the arm, crossing his arms. He wouldn't fall for this again! The little [H/C] haired gremlin couldn't get him with those stupid puppy dog eyes if he couldn't see them! "No way!"
"Pleaseeee! Just once! Pleaseeee!" [Y/N] begged. "Let me do it just this once! I'll stop asking afterwards!" [Y/N] would in fact not stop asking but he knew this was the only way for the Jiang to let him do it or at least catch him off guard...
Jiang Cheng slowly opened his eyes and gave the teen a deadpanned look. Damnit! He cursed. The short gremlin had tricked him into looking at him. "Your a bitch."
[Y/N] grinned, looking very smug. "Too bad. You don't have a choice."
Jiang Cheng opened his mouth to ask what the [H/C] haired teen meant but was cut off as [Y/N] picked him up abruptly. If he screeched, no he didn't.
"[Y/N]!?" Jiang Cheng sputtered.
"I can pick you up with or without your permission!" He laughed evilly and took off.

Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli were sitting peacefully in the shade away from the cruel summer sun, chatting and laughing. Wei Wuxian was enjoying some of his Shijie's amazing soup and silently wondering where Jiang Cheng had run off too. [Y/N] too he guessed....
"Shijie," Wei Wuxian spoke up. He watched Jiang Yanli as she served him more soup. She hummed. "Where is Jiang Cheng? I would have sworn he would be all over your soup and we'd have to fight for it."
Yanli giggled softly. "A-Cheng is with A-[Y/N]."
Wei Wuxian's brows knit together in confusion. Didn't they dislike each other?
Yanli, sensing her younger brothers thoughts, said, "A-[Y/N] wanted to ask him something."
Wei Wuxian's mouth made an 'o' shape and he suddenly wanted to ask the Jiang women something else when loud shouting filled the quiet air of the summer afternoon. The shimmering lake and the crafted lotuses glimmered and thrived in the blistering heat. Wei Wuxian felt he sudden urge to paint the scene - he wasn't very good at painting but he could draw it.. maybe...
They both looked up in surprise to see [Y/N] barreling towards them with an angry Jiang Cheng in his arms, shouting and sputtering insults and curses of all sorts.
"HEY!" [Y/N] greeted loudly as he ran by and, "BYE!" as he ran away. Jiang Cheng didn't even seem to notice them as he continued cursing the short male and demand he be let go.
"Oh my..." Jiang Yanli whispered softly, covering her mouth with her hand. Wei Wuxian thought she was going to faint but he soon caught the glimmer of amusement in her sweet honey eyes.
"Jiang Cheng," Wei Wuxian snorted. "[Y/N] is a menace... You really shouldn't angry him..."
Yanli hummed thoughtfully. "Want more soup, A-Xian?"
Wei Wuxian grinned. "Yes! Thank you Shijie!"
Yanli laughed softly and served him some more soup, eyes glittering.
