"Wooow!" [Y/N] clapped enthusiastically. "A-Ji your getting so good!"
"Thank you, Jie." Lan Wangji bowed his head and sheathed his sword. [Y/N] ran over and hugged him, not minding that he needed to take bath first.
"You should show A-Chen your progress. I'm sure he would be overjoyed!"
Wangji shook his head. "No need. He has seen before."
"Oh alright," [Y/N] said. She took a step back, holding his hand. Lan Wangji was already known for his dislike of physical contact with other people and would actively seek to avoid it at all costs. (We love someone who sticks to their boundaries :D couldn't be me-) But he made two exceptions, his mother and his older sister. Lan Xichen respected his boundary and didn't push but Wangji couldn't bring himself to tell his sister to stop. She was a very touchy person, always wanting to hold someones hand or hug them or play with their hair. It was how she should her affection, very unLan like in their uncles eyes. "I made some soup and cooked the leftover mushrooms. They were going bad anyway. You must hungry after a long day of training. Oh! A-Chen might even join us tonight."
Wangji nodded, listening to his sisters ramblings and enjoying the warmth that her bright smile brought to his heart. He liked it when she smiled. She had always been so sad when they were younger, it was nice to see her smiling again. Her smile reminded him that everything would be okay.
"You go wash up first and I'll start preparing dinner."
"Mn."
[Y/N] beamed, lightening up the whole training ground the like sun itself had descended to earth.
