"[Y/N]! Stop! Stop!" Jingyi squealed as he ducked out of the way just in time for a spray of flour to hit the wall behind him.

[Y/N] grinned and gathered up another large handful of flour before chasing after Jingyi.

"Ah!" Zizhen screamed as Jingyi ducked behind him. Zizhen was awarded a face full of flour. "Jingyi!"

"Sorry not sorry!" Jingyi yelled. He quickly ran to the opposite side of the room.

"Hold still you dummy!" [Y/N] yelled. They gathered up more flour and tried to throw it at the Lan, even getting a head start, but their foot caught on something and they fell face first onto the ground. The flour that was once in their hands was now raining down on top of [Y/N], coating their back and hair in a thin layer of powdery white.

"Pfft-" Jingyi burst out laughing. He threw his hand back, barely able to get air into his lungs as he continued to laugh. Slowly, he sank to the floor, laughing breathlessly and clutching his stomach.

[Y/N] screamed into the floor.

Zizhen watched, extremely concerned. His face was completely white (he hadn't bothered to try and wipe the flour away); his clothes and hair were powdery white. A stark contrast from the black of his hair or the red of his robes. "Um-"

Sizhui chose this moment to walk in with a reluctant Jin Ling behind him. Thankfully he had left his beloved dog with his uncle.

They both stopped in the doorway - [Y/N]'s muffled screams and Jingyi's chokingly loud and breathless laughs didn't stop.

Zizhen froze, as if he were the one who had created this mess.

"I... I don't even want to know." Sizhui stared. The entire room was practically coated in a layer of flour. It almost looked like snow... If it didn't smell starchy and didn't make Sizhui's eyes water from all the dust floating in the air. The only two things that were flourless in the room were Sizhui and Jin Ling.

"I was caught in the crossfire..." Zizhen muttered. He couldn't even be mad though. He knew what he was getting into when he agreed to help Jingyi and [Y/N] bake. They always got into food fights and mad extreme messes in the kitchen. This outcome was... expected.

Jin Ling snorted. "You look like a ghost."

"Give me some red powder and I'll look like a hanged ghost." Zizhen grinned weakly. The flour on his face sprinkled off. He suddenly remembered he had flour on his face and began to frantically scrub it off.

Jin Ling crossed his arms. "How did this even happen? What were you even making."

"Guess!"

They had been too focused on Zizhen they hadn't even realized that [Y/N] was no longer laying on the floor but instead had gotten up and was now standing behind Jin Ling and Lan Sizhui, hands full of flour.

They grinned widely. To be honest, a looked a little insane.

"Wa-wait no! No- Not the sIlK!" Jin Ling screamed.

Sizhui sighed, already accepting his fate.

"Hahaha!" [Y/N] laughed manically and dumped the white powder all over their friends.

Jin Ling screeched again like a cat who hadn't gotten wet.

Sizhui coughed, not expecting the amount of dust that was produced. "I... Why?"

"Because!" [Y/N] giggled.

"Y-you!" Jin Ling sneezed. He tried furiously to wipe the flour off him. "Ugh! I hate you!"

"Love you too!" [Y/N] blew the Jin a kiss.

Jin Ling didn't even spare them a second glance, much more concerned with getting most of the flour off of him.

"Anyways! Do you guys want to help us bake some cakes?" [Y/N] chirped, talking mostly to Sizhui.

"Well... since we're already here..."

"And covered in flOuR!" Jin Ling squeaked - actually squeaked. He was furious.

[Y/N] was extremely amused and enjoying every second of his reaction; overdramatic and stimulating as ever.

"We might as well." Sizhui finished.

[Y/N] beamed.

Jingyi was still laughing, almost hysterically at this point really, on the floor.

And Zizhen was slowly moving to the corner to cower.

Sizhui figured if you can't beat them, why not join them.

The cooks were so going to kill them when they saw the mess they had created.

▶ I just wanted them to be happy (aka I'm too overstimulated to write anything else but pure fluff lmao)

▶ Inspired by a real story that I did with my friends (they were not happy but they got back at me so its all okay haha)
