There's Always Tomorrow

Chapter 5

                                                                                  (Heather's POV) 

       After the last recording session for the band's third album, I went back to my flat to get ready for my date tonight. I am massively nervous about this date with Orion. I usually stay away from fans when it comes to dating because it could be dangerous. Being in the public eye can be a lot for me and that can be intimating for fans. I don't like getting involved with fans due to some misconceptions that could happen. However, something about Orion pulls me toward her. I honestly think this is worth taking the risk. I continue getting ready for my date. "I am massively nervous." I state. 

   Ciara looks at me. "You have every right to feel nervous. It is obvious that you like her." 

      "I do like her. Thank you for checking on me." I say. Ciara and I have been best mates for years. They have always had my back. 

   "Of course. I do live here so. Good luck tonight." They say before walking away. 

    I finish getting ready and than leave to pick up Orion from her flat. I usually don't get nervous on dates but this is different. I'm not sure why I'm nervous about this date. I really am worried about starting to date someone two months before I leave for tour. I do not want to break her heart. That is the last thing that I want. 

   I arrive at her flat a few moments after I left. I knock on the door. I am a gentlewoman. Orion opens the door. "hey gorgeous. Ready to go?" She asks as she locks the door. 

   I grin at her. "I am ready if you are." I state. 

   We both get in the car. I start driving us to where I made reservations for us. I have a certain sway with people. Being somewhat famous has its perks. Orion smiles. "Where are we going?" She asks me. 

  I grin. "There is a wonderful seafood place on the pier." I say. 

   "I love seafood. It also sounds like the perfect first date." She states, turning on the radio. 

   "I'm glad you do. I wasn't sure if it would be alright or not." I explain as I focus on the road. 

      "Seafood is my favorite along with pasta and pizza." She says. "For future reference." She states. 

    We arrive at the restaurant that is on the pier. I decided on this place because it is somewhat romantic. I wanted to make it as special as possible. I park the car, turning off the engine and getting out. I open her car door for her. "I don't cook for the life of me. I try to eat healthy as much as I can. I do need to eat as healthy as I can when I'm not on tour." I say. 

   "Thank you. It does make sense that you don't cook. I am awful at eating healthy." She says as we go into the restaurant. We get lead to our table that is by the water. It is absolutely beautiful. "This is gorgeous. Not as gorgeous as you are though." I start flirting. This is my first date in a long time. I am worried about this. I know it can work though.
