There's Always Tomorrow

Chapter 26

                                                                                 (Ciara's POV) 

     Wedding planning has been fun so far. We haven't really chosen a date yet. I'm fine with going with the flow and enjoying the engagement. I don't feel like we should rush into setting a date and things. I know that Indigo feels the same way. It is a ride but one that I am enjoying. I am taking it day by day. We are as a couple doing what we want to do. 

   "It is so beautiful." Indigo says, admiring her ring. 

   "It is gorgeous isn't it?" I ask about the ring. 

   "It is. It happens to be my birth stone as well." She says. "It is so my favorite stone." She states. 

   "I know that's why I chose it." I kiss her on the cheek. 

   She smiles. "Of ocurse." 

   I grin. "I love you." 

    "I love you too. I cannot wait to marry you. I am more than excited to marry you." She states with me. 

   I smile. "I can't wait to marry you as well. I'm lucky that you're my fiance. I know that we'll have our ups and downs but we will get through them together." I state. 

   "We will. I agreed to marry you which means we're in this together no matter what." She states. 

   "You're okay with enjoying our engagement for now?" I ask. 

   She nods. "I am okay with enjoying it especially because we're already very busy right now as bride people." She states. 

   "Exactly." I state. 

     "I honestly can't wait for our future together. You are amazing and incredible. Plus you're talented." She states. 

   "So are you. I'm glad to have you in my life as my fiance." I say as I cuddle her close to me. 

   She kisses me on the cheek. "I am lucky to have you as my fiance." She states. 

   I smile. "You deserve the best and I hope I give you that." I state. 

   She looks at me in the eyes. "You do give me the best all the time." She states. 

   "I am glad that I do. You give me what I deserve on a daily basis." I say. My phone rings. It's my sister. She is the only one in my family that I still talk to. She is the only one that accepts me. "What's up?" I ask. 

   My sister speaks. "Dad is in the hospital." She states.
