                                                                                 (Ciara's POV)

Having a weekend way from the band was much needed. Spending time with my girlfriend was needed. I leave for tour soon so having alone time was appreciated and important to have. I talked to my mates about us having dinner tonight after rehearsal. It's past time for Indigo to meet them. "It was a wonderful weekend. We needed it a lot. It clarified certain things that needed to be." Indigo tells me.

"Yes it did. Are you up for meeting the mates tonight?" I ask. I want to make sure that she's comfortable. That's all I want for her especially because things have been intense.

She smiles. "I am. It's more than past time for me to meet them. I know that we should have it happen before tour. They mean everything to you as well." She says.

"They do mean a lot to me. They are my only family I have. The support from the three of them means so much." I state. My parents were supportive of me being a lesbian but as soon as I told them about my transition they disowned me. The band is only family. It was a rough two years after that. Heather had me move in with her. I do pay rent but it was more of a security blanket. Heather, Hugo, and Charlie, are my family. Blood doesn't make a family, love does. That's something I stand by.

"I know. I'm excited to meet them." She kisses me on the cheek.

I check the time. "I'm glad. I have rehearsal." I say.

"I love you have fun." She says.

"I love you too." I walk to the pub where we are having today's rehearsal. We moved it to earlier because of dinner.

"There's everyone." Heather states. "Time to get started."

The four of us grab our respective instruments. I get behind my drum set. I learned to play drums in secondary school for an outlet. It gave me something to put my energy into. I love being part of a band that is super talented. I say it all the time but it is true. I listen to Heather sing to focus on which song we're on. The lyrics let me know where we are in the set. Our rehearsals usually consists of us running through the set list. It only takes a couple of hours. Heather needs to start not singing too much. That's how her vocals got damaged the last time.

Heather finishes her tea. "That was a fantastic rehearsal. Thank you, you three. See you in an hour for dinner." She hugs us before leaving.

I hug Charlie and Hugo. "I'm grateful you agreed to do this." I tell them both.

"You're welcome. It's about time fore this to happen." Charlie states.

"It is about time." I leave, walking back to my flat. I told Indigo that I would meet her at the restaurant. It's slightly easier that way. Plus I have to change my clothes.

"How are you feeling?" Heather asks me.
