(Orion's POV)
I wake up to my phone ringing. I check caller ID to see who it is, it's an unknown number. I answer anyway. "Hello?" I ask whoever it is.
"This is Jaime O'bourne. Is this Orion?" Jaime asks me.
"Yes it is." I sit up in shock that he is calling me right now.
"Hi Orion. I'm calling because I listened to your demo. I think it is fantastic. I would love to hear more of your music. If it's just as good I would love to sing you." Jaime informs me.
I take a few minutes to freak out before responding. "I would love that. How did you get my demo?" I ask.
"I can't say. I will text you with information for meeting me. We will talk later." He says before hanging up.
I'm confused on how Jaime got my demo and number. I do have a feeling that Heather gave it to him. I am sort of mad that she did but at the same time I'm not.
Heather brings me some coffee. She leaves for tour tonight. "You alright?" She asks me.
"I'm fine. How did Jaime get my demo and number?" I ask her, taking the coffee.
"I gave it to him. I know I should have asked first." She says.
I don't want to argue with her the day she leaves. "You should have asked me first. I'm mad you didn't. At the same time I want to thank you." I state, speaking my mind.
"I am sorry that I didn't. Especially because it was personal." She says, sitting next to me.
"The good thing is he wants to hear more and maybe sign me." I say about the phone call.
"That is good news. I am really happy for you. You deserve it." She says.
"I do. Luckily I do have more for him to hear." I say. "Are you ready for tour?"
She smiles. "I am ready for tour. It has been a long time coming." She says.
"It's your first headlining tour in North America right?" I ask.
"It is our first headlining tour since we became a band. It's a huge deal for us to be taking this step. Opening for a big band is different than headlining." She says.
"I bet it will feel different. I am so happy for you." I say as I cuddle closer to her.
