There's Always Tomorrow

Chapter 8

                                                                                   (Indigo's POV) 

    Ciara is amazing and I'm lucky that they're my partner. They have had my back since the day we met. They are the person that I am massively head over heels for. I want to spend the rest of my life with them. I'm ready for whatever our future looks like. I do want to take the step with them. It is a huge one that I want to ask to take. 

    "You alright?" they ask me. The band is taking the weekend off so Ciara and I are spending it together. 

    I cuddle into them. "I'm perfectly fine. I have a question that I want to ask you." I say. 

   "Oh yeah? What is it?" They ask me. 

   "How would you feel about moving in with me after you get back from tour?" I ask. I'm aware that they might so no. If they say no I'll deal with it. I'll be disappointed about it though. 

   They take a few minutes to answer. "I would love that. Yes I'll move in with you after tour. It's a huge step for us in our relationship." 

   "It is." I say. 

   Ciara nods. "It is one that I'm ready for. I wanted to ask you before. There's just been a lot of stuff going on." 

   "I know. Ready?" I ask. 

    "I am ready to. We have a date to get to." Ciara says. 

    "Yes we do." I state. The both of us leave my flat and head to the restaurant where we're having dinner. I'm excited because we haven't had a date night in a while. We have both been so busy with our lives lately. I'm the maid of honor at one of my best mates wedding. I've been busy with that. Ciara has been busy with their band. Their band just finished their newest album and getting ready for tour. Being in a relationship with a rockstar has its ups and downs. I love Ciara and who they are as a person. All the downs we've done through as a couple has made our relationship stronger. It's all worth it for me. 

   "I love you." They say as we arrive at the restaurant. 

   We sit down at our table. I look over the menu even though I already know what I'm getting. Ciara looks at the menu. "I'm glad that we have the whole weekend to ourselves." They say. 

   "It is great that we have the whole weekend to ourselves. I'm lucky to have you in my life as my partner. I'm excited for us to live together." I say. I know it's two months away but I'm still glad that it's happening. Our relationship as a couple has come a long way. 

  "I'm excited to live with you. You and I are in a great position as a couple. I'm lucky to have you as my girlfriend." They compliment me. 

   "You are amazing as well." I say. Our waiter takes our drink order before walking away. "I know the month you're gone will be extremely difficult." This is the first time in our relationship where we are going to be apart like this. It might shake me while they're gone but I will get through it no matter what. I can do it, it will be hard.
