Aether was still breathing heavily, but worked anyways. Its not that he hated his boss, its the customers that he had to serve. A small group of men around his age always came to his work station to insult him. At one point, they even made fun of the fact that Aether has no parents and that his older brother was in the hospital. That triggered so many unpleasent memories that he almost attacked a customer.
"GET HIS NAME OUT OF YOUR DAMN MOUTH, AND GO AWAY! YOU HEAR ME?! DONT BOTHER ME ANYMORE!"-Aether
The blond was sure he was going to lose his job. And then his actual parents will be upset, and Lumine will be upset, and Dain. Dain will be upset the most. Oh how much he missed Dain. Dain was a light for him and his sister, and he depended on him too much. So much that Aether wanted to die with him. He tried harming himself, starving himself, even going as far as slamming his head on his room wall. That's why no one is allowed in his room, so they dont get sick by the blood. ——————————————————————
The blond ran home out of embaressment, locking himself in his room. He banged his head on a wall in shame, thinking that he failed his brother and Lumine.
"STUPID, STUPID, STUPID! GAH, YOU ARE JUST SUPPOSED TO TAKE THE INSULTS TO YOUR GRAVE!"-Aether
"Aether? It's me. I have Xiao here with me. Can we talk?"-Lumine
"Go away Lumi. Please."-Aether
"I'll stay here forever if I have to. Just talk to me. And I know your banging your head on the wall, please stop hurting yourself."-Xiao
"Love. Please. Why are you doing this?"-Xiao
"I miss Dain. I messed up so bad. I'll lose my job and lose the chance to say goodbye to him. I need the money to pay his hospital bills and my own. I really do!"-Aether
"*Sigh* I will pay his bills. You pay your own. Or do you want it vice versa?"-Xiao
"It's okay. I'll find another job."-Aether

Aether opened the door to his room, resulting in Xiao laying on the floor smiling. The raven totally planned that.
"So that's why no one is allowed in here. You hurt yourself more than I thought."-Xiao
"Just hug me."-Aether
They cuddled on the soft carpet floor, wishing that they could stay like this forever.
"You need a therapist. Tomorrow then."-Xiao
"Fine, if only we can stay like this for a few minutes every day."-Aether
