They were expecting a small baby in a couple of weeks. Xiao has told Aether to do nothing but rest. Aria was a bunch of help. She made sure that her papa was well fed and drank lots of water. He always smiled whenever she was around.
"Aether. You okay?"-Xiao
"No. I feel sick. My head is dizzy, and I coughed out a bit of blood. It's like what happened when Aria was conceived, but worse. But, I know the baby is still alive since it kicks a lot."-Aether
Xiao kissed his stomach. He then climbed into bed and hugged Aether from behind. He let the sleeping Aria join in on the hug.
"What are you doing?"-Aether
"You smell like a freshly opened Glaze Lily and Qingxin. I'm just, a-admiring the smell and how it suits you."-Xiao
"Hehehe, you're so flustered it's adorable. You'll be such a great...sigh."-Aether
"What?"-Xiao
"I just realized how busy we both are going to be after this."-Aether
Xiao kissed his forehead. Then he place his hands on his head and made him dream. A sweet dream about peaches and picnics. It was like a film playing in his head. It was the fastest way to put him to sleep. The raven did the same for Aria as well. She smiled.
This warm and fuzzy feeling. He wanted it to last forever.

It never lasted. Once Aether finished giving birth, he started to cough up a insane amount of blood. He didn't even get to see his child yet. He was cold. He still was coughing out blood.
"It's a boy... a little boy."-Aether
"Aether please. Please stay with us."-Xiao
The blond started coughing again. He groaned and said that he started to feel dizzy. Xiao sat with him and placed his hands on his forehead once again.
"Mommy? Is Mommy okay?"-Aria
Aria just came home from school. She went straight to her mother's room to accompany him.
"No. No he is not. He's coughing out blood. I don't know what's wrong."-Xiao
Aether coughed again, this time a heavy amount. He ended up knocking over his phone. Xiao continued doing what he was doing and tried his best to calm him down.
"Xiao. *sob* I'm going to die. I'm going to die, aren't I?"-Aether
"No you're not. Please don't die."-Xiao
Aether was cold. His eyes glued shut. Aria started to calm the crying baby. Xiao broke down. He at least could made him had a peaceful dream. His heart wasn't beating. He truly was dead.
"Is mommy gone?"-Aria
Xiao stayed silent. He couldn't break her heart even though she already knows so much about the world. Aether taught her so much.
"We have to name him for Mommy. What do you want to name him?"-Xiao
"Apollo. Because Mommy told me about the Apollo 13 mission and it was so cool! We learned it in class!"-Aria
Xiao smiled. Then he gave one last kiss to the blond and wished him well. He turned to the newborn baby and Aria and acted like nothing had happened.
But truly did not want to break the heart of a six year old kid so soon. The crying face of a child is just heartbreaking to even see for a second.
He must protect their wishes. Aether isn't here now to do that anymore.
