Not knowing why, the ginger started to get creepy vibes from his comrade. He shot up the ranks quickly, and taken Signora's spot. The King took Scaramouche's. What did they do? Did they pay mora? Fought for it? Perhaps played a game and won?
"He is called the Gambler because he gambles lives. When you loose a gamble, you die. If you live, you gamble again. Gambling keeps him going. He makes the rules. He is the dealer. He is the player. Alice played poker with him and won. She was a worthy opponent. Of course, she played with Pierro, so she had some experience."-The King
"Oh? Then I supposed you had some too Xiao?"-Childe
"Tch. Of course I have. I am one of his associates. The King is the most valued card in poker. At lease that's how we play. You should ask him to play sometime. I would like to see your ass beaten again."-Xiao

The ginger walked out as Aether walked in. He showed a box of newly bought tarot cards in his hand. Xiao nodded as the blond walked closer.
"Want some tea? I know you're not here to talk strategy. Otherwise, you'd be at Yanshang Teahouse."-Xiao
"Free intel for Yelan? Hah! Aint that a dream for her! Sure, Qingxin tea and small doughnuts. Homemade."-Aether
"Tch. There's no way I'm making doughnuts now. You do that."-Xiao

"It's on." Aether spread out the cards all faced down. He smiled at his lover who made tea for their gambling sessions. Sigh, doughnuts are best homemade. It's a shame a little kid is going to be happier than them with a sugary treat.

"Yeah. Positive Star for me. I win."-Xiao
"Hehehe. You win my love. I'll make the doughnuts and give them to the children in the village. Fair enough?"-Aether
Xiao nodded. Aether got up and put the cards away. Xiao wondered how Aether was the Gambler, but he lost badly. Still, he couldn't deny this win.
"You can come out! There's no point in hiding!"-Aether
A redhead came out of the shadows. Diluc. He was banned from Snezhnaya, why is he in the icy land? Intel? Tea? A bet?
"No need to punish me. I just wanted to view a harbinger in his spare time. Instead of strategy planning, you gamble for pointless reasons."-Diluc
Aether held up his sword against the redhead's neck. The blond glared at his eyes before speaking. "You know your punishment for stepping in these lands."
"Finally, some action!" Xiao threw some cards to pin the redhead to the wall. Diluc shook them off, Aether waiting to kick him to the ground. He activated his shoe blade and kicked him unconscious.
"The shoe blade had crushed sleeping pills in them. Let's take him to Her Majesty. She'll love to see him again."-Aether
