Aria always wondered why does her mother need the extra help when he was holding a child. He even needed help with walking! It made no sense to her at all. Something simple turned into a challenge for her mother, and it made her worry. But she knows how strong her mother is. So she didnt need to worry too much.
It made Xiao worry too. The blond always was weaker at this point. He didnt know what to expect. A lot of things could happen all at once and he wouldnt know how to deal with it. And Aether's weird food habits, his habit of overworking to meet the people's demands, and the amount of pressure he gave himself. Aether is just Aether.
"Violence."-Aether
"Enough."-Xiao
"Xiao~ Im hungry. Please."-Aether
"No. You ate all my damn food and whatever is left in the kitchen. You even ate kelp. Dipped in mustard."-Xiao
"Hey look! Im hungry and need to fill up my stomach!"-Aether
"WITH KELP?!"-Xiao
"Yes."-Aether
"MAMA! THERES SCARY PEOPLE OUTSIDE! THEY SAID-"-Aria
"Calm down! What happened?"-Aether
"Someone killed the nice people outside and said they want the new child. Who is that?"-Aria
Aether held her close while Xiao pulled him into a hug. He knew it wasnt safe anymore laying here in his room.
"Ill tell you, but only if you follow Papa somewhere safe. Ill catch up."-Aether
"Aether..."-Xiao
"Like I said, Ill catch up!"-Aether
Xiao lead Aria to a secret passegeway in the closet. Aether stayed still until he made sure he could move and catch his breath. He then followed his lover into the closet.

Lumine was down here too. Something must be wrong. Is something really wrong?
"Mama. Who is the new child?"-Aria
" They want me and you. They want to do all kinds of things to us. Especially me."-Aether
Aether was tearing up. He didnt want anyone going through this at all. This everlasting worry of being taken from home roughly like this. It made him cry.
"Come on. Let's find you both a place to nap."-Xiao
The raven lead them to a small bed. Big enough for the both of them. He gave them a kiss on the cheek before closing the room. Aether then realized where they were. Inside a small closet.
"Aria. I want you to protect your new sibling, okay?"-Aether
"Okay! Because Mama promised it!"-Aria
Aether gave her a giant hug. He hoped she wouldn't forget her promise.
Suddenly for him, it became a bit hard to breathe. He needed to lie down and sleep. Aria took the chance to get a peek outside the room. As soon as her mother was sleeping, she opened the door a bit. Her father was resting down near a small lit candle, illuminating the entire area. Her aunt was talking with somebody. There were weapons in a corner on the floor.
"Papa..."-Aria
"I see you Aria. Stay inside the closet."-Xiao
"But it's dark in there. And Mama doesn't look good."-Aria
"What do you mean he doesn't look good?"-Xiao
"Mama is getting paler and feels slimy like hyro slimes."-Aria
"Sigh. Let me see."-Xiao
Two unknown guys came inside the area. The candle burned out. Xiao quickly shut the door and felt Aether's forehead. He felt hot. Really hot.
"He's burning up. And he's glowing. Oh god, how are we going to cover this?"-Xiao
"There's a blanket over there!"-Aria
Aria grabbed it. It was a thick tarp, so it was almost perfect. At least it dimmed the brightness so people couldn't see him that well. And kept him warm.
"HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!"-???
Xiao instead covered his lover's ears while Aria clung to his chest and did the same. They both didn't want Aether to fight or wake up.
"Where is the Prince? I need him alive and breathing."-???
"None of your business. I am not obligated to tell you anything. Especially since you're with the Akademiya. Don't think I noticed the uniform?"-Xiao
"Hphm! He is in grave interest to the Sages. He is a star from another world. People will die to be able to study him."-???
"Study him? You broke into my home, took the lives of the innocent, and completely scared the hell out of everybody just to kidnap him and run experiments? And he's from this world. Everyone in Celestia are made of stars. You have no right to be up here."-Xiao
"I'm with the Akademiya! I suppose I do have a right to do as I please!"-???
"Your goddamn ruler is locked up because you didn't like her and thought she wasn't good enough to interact with the people she's supposed to serve!"-Xiao
"Xiao...what's going on?"-Aether
"Aether, don't listen!"-Xiao
The guy kept spitting insults at Xiao all because he said no. It took Aria for the guy to leave. In fact, she punched him and kicked him out.
"Please explain."-Aether
Aria and Xiao explained everything to Aether. He was worried. Then he remembered Lumine. Lumine and him were twins! And the guy could've noticed that quickly!
"LUMINE! LUMINE!"-Aether
She was on the floor shivering. But still breathing. At least she was alive.
"You better not go to that damn Fatui Harbinger again. I need you."-Aether
"Okay, and? She's so hot and protective. Just like how Xiao is to you."-Lumine
Aether gave her older sister a tight hug. Then she felt a child kicking his stomach. Really hard. About as hard as how he described Aria's kicking.
"Go back to bed."-Xiao
"Violence."-Aether
"No."-Aria, Xiao, and Lumine
Bro ran out of ideas. Okay, but violence?
