Aether and Xiao went star gazing for a bit outside to have some alone time. Aria was asleep and so was Apollo. But Apollo was asleep in Aether's arms while Aria was asleep in Aether's lap. Xiao ruffled her hair as she snored.
"Xiao, you know how fake the sky is right?"-Aether
"Yeah, what about it?"-Xiao
"What if the skies were covered with blood? What would rain ever day? How long would it rain to mourn the losses?"-Aether
"Okay, you need to go to bed. You need sleep also."-Xiao
"Not yet. *cough*." Aether was coughing up blood from his mouth. "*Cough.* N-No. Why now?"
"Aether! Let go of him and Aria! I'll get you something! Aether?! Aether!"-Xiao
The blond fell to the ground trembling and coughing. He woke up Aria from her nap. She saw the blood and her mother coughing out a pool of it. She cried when she saw him.
"Mama? *hic* Mama..."-Aria
"Take your brother inside! He's too young to see this. I'll explain everything! Just go inside!"-Xiao
Aria grabbed her crying brother and ran inside to Lumine's room. She was scared. This was all new to her.

"MAMA!" Aria hugged her mother tightly. Xiao calmed down the crying baby by tickling his stomach and giving him more warm milk. Aria cried in fear that it will happen again in the future.
"I guess you want to know what's wrong with me?"-Aether
"Yeah...*sniff* Mama hurt."-Aria
"Im not hurt little dove. I'm just a bit sick. No need to worry about me. I'm sorry for making you worry."-Aether
Aether couldn't break her heart. He couldn't tell her this happens because she went missing. The blond held her tight in his arms as she cried in his shoulder. Xiao joined in on the hug. He patted her daughter's head and kissed his lover's cheek.
They heard rain. The soft clouds rained the blood of the pure. The worse day to live in Tevayt is when blood rains from the sky.
No one said that I could make people cry today. Oh well fine.
