Aether felt like he had been running for hours now. One of his best friends got murdered in front of him, and he was hiding nearby. The murder is probably looking for him now. He got as far away as possible and started crying.
Xiao was comforting the blond while he frowned. He wanted to know who hurt his beautiful little blond like this. And who killed Heizou? What beef did they have with his classmate?
"What direction did you run from? I would like to see if the man is still there."-Xiao
"I-I doubt it. T-T-That way." Aether pointed down the alley as Xiao gave him his jacket. It was a cold night and he looked like he was shivering.
The raven ran through the alleyway looking for the guy that his crush described. He saw him. One of his friends lifeless on the floor. And yet Shikanoin was a detective. One of the best. He saw some strange guy dragging Heizou to the dumpster. Xiao got out a knife, and killed the guy.
"I'm sorry Heizou. I couldn't come to yours and Aether's rescue fast enough. Beat up the guy before he goes to hell for him and me okay?"-Xiao
He prayed for his friend in heaven. Xiao went back to comfort Aether under the cold air. But he wasn't there. He was under a building taking shelter from the picking up rain.
"What happened? Tell me everything. How did Heizou die? We'll report it to the police and get a proper funeral for him."-Xiao
"*sniff* Me and Heizou were walking from band practice when this guy came up to us and asked for my body. He said...that I had the body of a girl and touched my ass. Heizou punched him, telling the guy that I was clearly uncomfortable and he should get lost. He was killed. Stabbed at least five times in the chest." Aether tensed at the thought. "He protected me... and he died. He died Xiao!"
"I'm sorry for making you talk about it. I'll walk you home. Okay?" Aether nodded, and accepted his offer. The blond still cried about Heizou dying. The raven frowned. He hasn't done enough to avenge both Shikanoin and Aether. He hasn't been protecting Aether. He failed his only goal in his life.
"Make sure you tell Lumine what happened today. Everything. Don't worry about me. It will be okay."-Xiao
"Everything including Heizou?"-Aether
"Yes. I'll go home now. Have a good night Aether."-Xiao
Xiao walked out the door, starting the path home. He needed to kill anyone that hurt Aether in his life. They were best friends. And he was his life long crush. They were hurting him. They deserved all the pain that is coming to them.
He's going to kill them. Every. Single. One. Of. Then.
