Now in the first book Adelia got raped. This is a very serious topic and isn't one to take lightly. Some of you may be wondering why i put it in the first book when she is just 12 years old. I put it in there
a) because it will help with my storyline
and b) to also show that rape can happen to anyone at any age and we need to be respectful. It can also hurt the witnesses too (Percy, Annabeth and Grover) because they were powerless to stop it.
