"Okay, let's go over it again before you get in the booth" I said to Jhenè.
"Alright" She replied.
We're almost finished with her album, gotta get a few more songs done but then we'll be finished. Just gotta clean everything up.
I started playing the guitar and I gave her the cue for both of us started singing.

"Yesssss! I love this!" Jhenè said as we finished harmonizing the hook together and I stopped playing the guitar.
"Yeah?" I said with a smile.
"Yes! The message is amazing too. And I want you to sing the bridge with me" She said.
"On the record?" I asked.
"Mhm, when we say, I'm tired but I'm fired up" She said.
"Aww of course I'll do that with you!" I said excitedly.
So far it's been Summer Walker, Solange and now Jhenè who actually wanted me to sing on the album as well, not just write and that means a lot to me. Means that they really like my work times ten.
"Great, I also have another proposition for you" She said.
"And what is it?" I asked.
"Me and Sean are doing a collab album together, we're gonna call it twenty88 and I want you to write some of my verses on there... If you want to." She said.
"Aww really?" I said.
"Yesss" She said.
"I'd love to! That's not a problem at all" I said.
She gave me a hug and said "Whew girl thank you, thank you, thank you. I was hoping you'd be down!"
"Definitely down." I said.
"We're gonna start it after I'm done with this album, and once it's drops. I just wanna take my time" Jhenè said.
"Yeah that's perfectly fine with me, just let me know" I said.
"Sounds good" Jhenè said.
"Alright let's get this song recorded, you ready?" I asked.
