*Mentions of sexism are in this chapter. I'm a feminist and in no way I think of women the way I comment here, but the antagonist in this chapter needed to be sexist AF, so I apologize if this makes any of you beautiful people uncomfortable or if anyone is offended. That is not my intention at all. It was hard for me to write this, so I hope it's not too bad or harsh. Lots of love to all of you, powerful, badass queens out there, you are all amazing and I love you! ❤

Third Person POV

"It's been two months and a half since the passing of businessman, billionaire and philanthropist Antoine Dumont. Also two months since the direction and future of Dumont Industries remains uncertain.

After the passing of Antoine, his only daughter and now heir to all the Dumont fortune, Sophia Dumont has been the one in charge of the worldwide known engineering and technology development industry. The young girl, barely 21 years old, is the one expected to lead the company now, to run such an empire that to be honest, I don't think is suitable for someone so young.

Sources say that today, at this precise moment, the young girl is set to meet the committee and board of the company, to dictate and establish once and for all, where the future of Dumont Industries will be and in what direction it is going to move.

Let's take a recount of Sophia's life. Sent to boarding school at the age of 8, Sophia had been studying abroad, in an all girl-school in Zurich, Switzerland, away from all the family business and all the logistics, management and schematics that have something to do with Dumont Industries. Graduating at the age of 17 from college after boarding school, just like adoptive brother, Tony Stark, Sophia came back to France to get a job position that she so craved for, one in the government.

After she came back, Sophia was now a teenage girl, looking for a position to work for the government in an agency of sorts. Which one? We still don't know, but as people from around seem to describe her, she is a skilled and hard-working woman, with many talents under her sleeve. She is pretty ambitious, as we can see, if you ask me.

But now, what assures us that just because she can work for the government, doing God knows what, she is capable enough to run a company as big and important as Dumont Industries? Does she know how to speak and command people? Maybe. But does she really have the attitude and courage to run this empire? Is the French Princess ready to be the one to fill such big shoes as the ones her father left? The 21 year old-"

The news broadcast was turned off by Pierre as he went inside Antoine's office, where Sophia was getting ready to meet with the board.

-I was watching that.- Sophia said as she was helped by Maggie, her father's assistant (now hers), in applying a little bit of make-up.

-Yeah, you don't need to.- Pierre said as he stood in front of his niece. -You don't need to watch the bullshit the media says. Remember that they are just trying to scare you and ruin your image. Get under your skin. Don't give them the satisfaction.- Pierre said, now turning to walk to the window.

He saw all of the reporters waiting outside the building, ready to go inside for the press conference once the board meeting was over.

He didn't like all the things the press, especially that new's T.V reporter, were talking about Sophia's life, like she knew big details about it, when in reality Sophia's life was as private as her job.

Pierre was not nervous for the meeting, but Sophia was. She knew what she needed to do, but after Tony's fiasco with Obadiah and the board, she was nervous something like that could happen again.
