30th November 2010. 15:10. Oscar de la Renta, Madison Ave, New York. NY.

Third Person POV.

The day Sophia had waited for the most was finally here. The last piece of the puzzle was now on its way to be completed.

After months and months of searching for the right dress, the dress of her dreams, she finally found it, thanks to a good friend of hers, the one and only, Oscar de la Renta.

At first, it had been just a normal, long puffy sleeveless dress, and she liked it, but when Oscar found out that she had been searching for a special wedding dress,he decided to take it upon himself to make a new one. A unique piece of ODLR bridal catalogue that no one would be able to have, only Sophia.

Like I said, a unique piece.

Today, she was finally at Oscar's shop in New York where he had cited her to be so he could show her the final product. She had asked Pepper and Natasha to be there, since it was going to be a really special day for her.

The Widow and the Stark Industries CEO haven't been together since what happened at the Expo, but nonetheless, they acted civilly and kind towards one another.

Sophia had been eating her nails (not literally) for at least 15 minutes since Oscar said he was going to go get the dress.

-Stop that, you're making me anxious.- Natasha said as she swatted away her best friend's hand from her mouth.

-Oh yeah? And how do you think I'm feeling, huh? You're not the one who's getting the dress today, missy, no, no, no, it's me. I am the one who is getting it and my nerves are through the roof, also because I'm getting married and now I'm about to try on the dress of my dreams so don't tell me to stop. Okay? Okay.- Sophia said rapidly and Pepper and Natasha looked at her with raised eyebrows.

-Are you done?.- Natasha asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Sophia took a deep breath as she leaned her head back, looking at the ceiling.

-Yeah. I'm done.- Sophia said and let out a puff of air.

Natasha and Pepper understood why she was nervous. They had been going (separately at first) on dress hunting for almost 2 months now and Sophia was growing more and more nervous by the second, mostly because she wanted to find her special dress but seemed to have no luck at it.

At one point she thought she might never be able to find it and that she would have to end up wearing one she didn't like at all.

Of course there were a variety of dresses. Thousands of options for her, but every single one she tried one, she didn't feel comfortable in or liked it as much as she should've, no matter how pretty they were.

But one day, while shopping with Natasha, they went to Oscar de la Renta and saw a few dresses. Sophia found a long, puffy sleeve dress that looked nice, with a big puffy skirt and a white heart-shaped corset. She liked it better than others she had seen and just as she came out of the dressing room to show it to Natasha, her long time friend Oscar, owner of the brand, was arriving at the shop.

He saw Sophia and congratulated her on her wedding and asked her how the dress search was going. When she told him it was good and that she liked his dress, he told her that it looked nice on her. But after making Sophia turn and pose, he offered to turn that dress into her dream dress.
