Vivian returned to the audience seats, only to be immediately bowled over by the three children.

"You guys..." Vivian groaned, though her lips curved into a smile as Tatsuya, Ayu, and Futoshi clung to her proudly.

The cheers filled the room, but not everyone shared in the lightheartedness. Yuzu sat quietly, her thoughts spiraling back to the warehouse—the masked figure, Yuto, and his words that still echoed in her heart. Vivian looked unfazed by her own duel, but Yuzu's chest felt heavy, her body almost swaying where she sat.

Ruri's voice slipped into her ear. "Yuzu, you're next, right? They're counting on you."

Yuzu straightened, forcing a determined smile. "Yeah. Just leave it to me. Our You Show Duel School is on the line. I must win!"

Across the field, Yuya turned, his eyes landing on a girl who had just stepped forward. She had a dark skin tone, her short blue jacket clipped with the LDS badge standing out against the cream one-piece shirt beneath it. Black skin-tight shorts and sturdy blue boots gave her a practical edge, while a brown holster at her hip cradled her Duel Disk like a weapon.

"Masumi," Yuya called. "You're next."

"Yes, Vice President," Masumi replied crisply, striding toward the center and cutting through the lingering excitement from Vivian's victory. Her voice rang clear as she introduced herself: "I am Masumi Kotsu, from the Fusion Course."

"Fusion..." Ron's eyes narrowed. Jean folded her arms, equally tense.

"So she's a Fusion user," Sora remarked, biting down on one of his biscuit sticks with a grin.

Masumi activated her Duel Disk, the sharp glow of the blade-like projection sparking the tension. "Who among you will be my opponent?"

"Me." Yuzu stepped forward, her hand hovering over her deck. Inside, she thought fiercely: To protect You Show Duel School—and clear Yuya's name—I can't lose this duel. But...

Vivian caught the fire blazing in Yuzu's eyes. A faint smirk tugged at her lips, though she wondered if Yuzu had forgotten that the entire situation was orchestrated by Yuya and Yuni. She chose not to say a word.

Masumi, however, noticed it too, and her own lips curved in a subtle, confident smile.

The two girls walked side by side onto the Duel Field, their Duel Disks already primed.

"Hm..." Shuzo tapped his chin dramatically, then thrust his arm out. "The appropriate field for my lovely daughter is... this one! Action Field, on! Field Magic: Crystal Corridor!"

The arena shimmered, transforming into a glittering hallway lined with towering gem-studded pillars and mirrored walls. A soft pink carpet stretched endlessly beneath their feet, catching the light like starlight dust.

"Yuzu, I chose the perfect field to reflect your sparkling cuteness!" Shuzo announced proudly. "You'll shine here!"

"Dad... you're embarrassing me," Yuzu muttered, her cheeks tinged pink as she lowered her head.

Masumi chuckled softly, her eyes cool and sharp. "He must really love you if he thinks you're actually shining. But how foolish of him to choose the very field I specialize in. It seems your principal hasn't learned anything."

"W-what?" Shuzo froze, sweat forming at his brow.

"Dad! What are you doing?" Ryu shouted from the stands, his face in his hands. The kids all groaned in frustration, realizing their principal had made the same mistake again.

Masumi ignored their protests, her gaze steady on Yuzu. "Your eyes are clouded."

"What do you mean?" Yuzu demanded, gripping her Duel Disk tighter.
