After the Sakaki siblings and the LDS members departed, silence lingered in the room. The Action Field shimmered faintly before dissolving, the arena returning to its normal state.
Sora crossed his arms, his voice carrying a mix of awe and unease. "That was an incredible duel... to think both of them could even use Pendulum Summons."
"Considering Yuya and Yuni are the ones who created them, it makes sense," Ryu muttered.
Shuzo clapped his hands together with a grin. "Man... anyway, good for us!"
"Good for us?" Yuzu repeated, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah. The LDS left," Shuzo explained quickly. "First and foremost, our school's safe, thanks to everyone's efforts."
Sora frowned. "Even if you say 'everyone,' the only ones who actually won were Vivian and Yuzu."
The words landed heavily. Gongenzaka lowered his head, shame flickering across his face.
Tatsuya snapped, his voice rising. "You didn't even fight for us! How can you complain?"
"Yeah! You're just a weakling!" Ayu added harshly.
"You Show Duel School doesn't need someone like you around!" Futoshi chimed in.
Sora winced, his mouth twisting in a pained smile. "Yeah, yeah, sorry." He turned and began walking away.
"Hey, where are you going, Sora?" Shuzo called after him, his voice worried. Then he turned sharply to the kids. "And you three shouldn't be saying things like that!"
"Whatever. That guy..." Futoshi muttered under his breath.
"We don't need weaklings anyway," Ayu insisted.
"If LDS ever tries to attack us again, I'll protect the school myself next time!" Tatsuya declared with fiery determination.
"Me too!"
"Me three!" Ayu and Futoshi chimed in together.
Jean, who had stayed quiet until now, finally spoke up, his voice calm and steady. "I don't think LDS is going to attack again. Don't forget—Yuya and Yuni are Vice Presidents of LDS."
Ron crossed his arms, his gaze narrowing. "And that whole 'attack' was their doing in the first place."
Tatsuya turned to Yuzu with wide, curious eyes. "So, Big Sister Yuzu... how did Big Brother Yuya and Big Sister Yuni even know Reiji?"
The question made Sora pause mid-step. He stopped near the doorway, folding his arms as he listened in.
Yuzu's expression softened. "Well, Reiji is our childhood friend. He and his brother, Reisho, often played with us when we were little. Sometimes we even dueled each other."
She glanced down at the bracelet on her wrist, her tone turning wistful. "And... Akaba Reisho. We haven't seen him in years. He was like a brother to me—along with Ryu."
Ryu nodded, his voice carrying a quiet weight. "Indeed. This brings back old memories. But still... I know that his father and Yusho-sensei were the first Presidents of LDS. Why did they disappear? And since when did Yuya, Yuni, and Reiji take over as Vice Presidents and President?"
Yuzu turned her back to them, hesitating before she answered. "Well... Yuya and Yuni might have a clue where Uncle Yusho is."
Ron and Jean's eyes widened. Shuzo leaned forward quickly. "Wait—they know where Sakaki Yusho is?"
A tick mark appeared on Yuzu's forehead. She pulled out her folding fan and smacked Shuzo on the head, sending him tumbling to the floor. "Geez! I told you not to get this close!" she snapped before turning back to the others. Her expression grew firm. "As for your question—they were asked to keep it a secret. Uncle Yusho's disappearance is connected to something dangerous in the future."
