After Yuya's spectacular victory, the momentum carried forward. Ron and Jean entered the arena for their own matches, and with polished precision, both claimed their victories. Their Xyz Monsters dominated the field so thoroughly that their opponents barely had time to respond.
"You two did a good job," Vivian said with an approving nod as they returned.
Ron waved it off modestly. "It was nothing. We've trained for this—our decks were more than ready."
Jean crossed her arms with a small smirk. "The warm-up's over. The real test is still ahead."
Yuni exhaled slowly, her eyes shifting to the duel screen. "All that remains for today... is Kurosaki Shun versus Shiun'in Sora."
Yuya nodded, unease written on his face. "Yeah... and this one's going to be intense. Neither of them is from this Dimension."
Nico's voice cut across the stadium. "Now, for today's final match! Representing You Show Duel School—Sora Shiun'in! And from LDS—Kurosaki Shun! Everyone, give them your applause!"
The crowd roared. Sora bounded into the stadium, waving happily at the audience. His playful grin drew cheers and laughter, with Shuzo pumping his fist in excitement.
"That's it, Sora! Show them what You Show is made of!" Shuzo shouted.
"Good luck, Sora. Make sure you win this one," Gongenzaka encouraged from the stands.
"Yeah! Beat LDS!" the kids yelled in chorus, their voices full of faith.
Sora threw them a confident smile. "Don't worry! I'll satisfy the whole crowd just like Yuya did!"
His words, however, only made Yuya, Yuni, Yuzu, Vivian, Katrina, Ron, and Jean glance at one another nervously. That smile was too wide, too practiced.
Shun entered the field with none of Sora's flourish. His sharp, calculating eyes stayed fixed on his opponent, every step measured.
"Sora, be careful!" Yuni called suddenly. Her voice carried urgency, not cheer. "Don't let your guard down against him!"
Sora only waved it off with a carefree grin. "Relax, Yuni! I'll be fine! This time, I'll put on a show for all of you, too—so look forward to it!"
Shun's gaze didn't waver, his silence more menacing than words.
Katrina folded her arms, muttering under her breath. "Why warn him? If anything, I'd rather Shun beat him down after what he did to Heartland."
A new voice answered as Reisho stepped into the row, taking a seat beside Yuni. "That's because Sora is like a bomb without a timer. One wrong move, and he'll report everything back to Academia. If that happens, this Dimension will end up just like Heartland."
Yuzu turned to him in surprise. "Reisho? You came to watch again?"
Reisho gave her a faint smile. "Of course. I wouldn't miss this. Don't you think this will be a very... interesting duel to watch?"
Yuni's eyes lingered on the two duelists now facing each other in the stadium. Her reply was quiet, but heavy with meaning. "Yeah... interesting, and dangerous."
(Flashback)
Yuni stood in front of Kurosaki Shun, holding out a small case of freshly crafted cards. Her tone was calm but firm. "Kurosaki, these are Pendulum cards I made specifically for you. Knowing your precision, you'd be able to wield them far better than Sawatari ever could."
Shun's eyes narrowed as he studied the cards. For a moment, he said nothing. Then, with quiet finality, he turned away. "I have no need for them. In this match, I'll win with my own strength—not by relying on anyone else's tools."
