The group followed Yoko into a dusty, abandoned arcade. Faded posters clung to the walls, machines sat dead and silent, their screens shattered, and broken tokens littered the ground. The silence pressed in on them — until Ron broke it.

"What does your mother plan to do with you guys in a place like this?" he asked, his voice low with suspicion.

"No idea," Vivian replied honestly, folding her arms.

Before anyone else could speak, the sharp roar of an engine echoed through the empty hall. A motorcycle's engine revved in the next room, its growl growing louder, closer — until a gleaming D-Wheel burst into view. It roared up a tilted piece of debris like a ramp and soared over the scattered arcade wreckage.

"Whoa!" Shuzo yelped, throwing an arm out protectively. The You Show students scrambled behind him for cover, wide-eyed.

But Yuya and Yuni didn't move. They stood their ground as the rider skidded to a stop before them.

The figure pulled off her helmet, long hair spilling free — and revealed her face.

"M-Mom?!" Vivian cried, her voice shrill. "What's with that get-up?!"

Yoko smirked, eyes glittering with pride. "I'm not your mom! I'm the Boss of Ladies!"

The You Show kids gasped in unison. "Boss?!"

Katrina blinked hard. "What... what does she mean?"

Yuya stepped forward, his tone grave but steady. "Before we were born, Mom led a group that made its name echo through every street of Miami City — a ladies-only D-Wheel gang known as the Miami Queens."

"That's right!" Yoko threw back her head and shouted, her voice filling the arcade. "The name that made crying kids shut their mouths, the Miami Queens!" She struck a pose astride her D-Wheel. "And I was their boss — Shooting Star Yoko!"

"Shooting Star? What are you even talking about?" Vivian asked, looking utterly lost.

Zarine crossed her arms, sighing. "She's being her old self again... isn't she?"

Zarc chuckled under his breath, intrigued. "Heh. Maybe this'll be interesting after all."

Yuni stepped forward, fire sparking in her eyes. "So, Mom — I'm guessing you want a Riding Duel, right? Then let me be your opponent." She snapped her fingers, and Orbital descended from above, gleaming as it carried her own D-Wheel.

The machine landed with a clatter, and Yuni swung onto the seat. She revved the engine once, eyes locked on her mother. "I'm ready, Mom."

Yoko grinned, pulling her helmet back on. "Good. Then let's ride! Action Field on! Field Magic — Pier of Peril, activate!"

The arcade dissolved in a shimmer of light, replaced by the image of a vast pier stretching into a stormy sea. Colossal statues of mythological beasts loomed on either side, casting long shadows across the wet planks. The scent of salt and danger filled the air.

Both D-Wheels roared to life as mother and daughter sped off, sparks trailing their tires. (Yuni:4000)(Yoko:4000)

Meanwhile, the others gathered at the edge of the transformed pier, watching the D-Wheels roar across the planks.

Ayu's jaw dropped. "Are they... are they riding motorcycles while dueling?"

Katrina crossed her arms, her voice steady but a little proud. "They're called D-Wheels. It's a style of duel where riding and dueling happen at the same time."

Jean frowned, worry flickering in her eyes. "What? Isn't that dangerous?"

"It is," Yuya admitted, his gaze fixed on the two riders. "But in the Synchro Dimension, this is common. Riding Duels are the norm there."
