Chapter 12

I walked over to the window. I waited for Louis. He said he would come pick me up. I played with his ring on my finger. I wore it for the past couple of days. I didn't want to take it off.

I saw Louis car pull up in the driveway. I quickly pulled on my shoes and ran out the door. I got in to his car.

"Hey love!" he greeted me with.

"Hey, here's your ring," I said, pulling it off and giving it to him.

"Thanks," he said, slipping it back on his finger. He started his car and pulled out of the driveway.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"My friend is having a party," he replied.

"Oh parties," I said, placing my head in my hands when I remembered what happened last time.

"Don't worry about it, this ones different," he said, obviously detecting my embarrassment.

"Ok, I trust you," I said.

We arrived his friends house about a half an hour later. It was at a cabin that was just off of a lake. I noticed that this party was much more calm then the last one. This put me at ease. I walked around with Louis. He held my hand the entire time and never let go. I guess he was scared for me.

Louis introduced me to one of his friends, Danny. He was blonde with dark brown eyes. He was muscular and handsome just like all of Louis friends. It looks as if you have to be good looking to be friends with Louis.

"His parents own his cabin," said Louis.

"Wow its beautiful," I said, looking around.

"Thanks," Danny said. He whispered something to Louis and then winked. I couldn't make out what they were saying. Obviously something not for my ears. Louis smiled, then led me away. He took me out the back door and on to a deck.

"What are we doing?" I asked, looking over the railing at the ground. It was probably about a 10 foot drop to the ground. The massive deck over looked the lake. I could see the moons reflection in the water. It looked like something out of a movie.

"Pretty isn't it?" he said, staring out in to the space in front of him. He was leaning against the railing. I was beside him.

"Ya," I said, placing my hands on the railing. I felt Louis hand slowly move on top of mine. I heard a strange noise. It sounded like cheering. I looked behind me at the big glass patio doors. And that's when I saw him.

"Shit!" I yelled. I saw my brother standing there approximately 15 feet away.

"What?" Louis said, tracing my stare. He obviously saw the same thing I did because he to yelled,"Shit!" He grabbed my hand and led me down the stairs on the right side of the deck. He ran across the grass to the shore of the lake dragging me behind him. He led me underneath a dock where we sat down.

"What the hell!? He said he wasn't coming tonight!" yelled Louis.

"Oh god, I'm gonna die, your gonna die, were all gonna die!" I yelled.

"Calm down, I don't think he saw us," he said pulling out his phone. He held it up to his ear. I could hear it ringing.

"Hello Danny?" said Louis.

"Ya?" I heard Danny say.

"Are you anywhere around Todd?"

"No why? Where the hell are you? Todd's been looking for you."

"I'm hiding under your dock right now," Louis said.

"Ha really? With that hot chick? Way to go Louis!" I heard Danny say. Oh great now I'm the hot chick that Louis banged under a dock.
