Jess' P.O.V.
I walked away from Ava starting my look for Louis. I saw him sitting on the counter in the kitchen talking to Todd and Adam. They looked like they were pretty deep in conversation and I didn't want to interrupt. Plus I really had to pee. Hmm were would a bathroom be? Upstairs is my best bet.
I walked up the insanely steep staircase, it being surprisingly dark upstairs. How do drunk people even get up this? I took a right going down the dark hall. Surprisingly the first door I pushed open was the bathroom.
I stared at myself in the mirror noticing my shirt was hanging extremely low. I pulled it up, fixing it. Why didn't Ava tell me I was flashing everybody? Louis would have told me.
I quickly went pee walking out of the bathroom closing the door behind me.
"Jess?" someone said. I jumped back my elbow hitting the door. The boy standing in front of me was very familiar but I couldn't put a name to the face.
"I'm sorry do I know you?" I asked.
"My, you have grown up," he said his eyes scanning my body stopping at my chest. I instinctively pulled up my shirt.
"I have to go..." I said trying to walk away. He grabbed my wrist pulling me back.
"Let's catch up shall we?" he said dragging me further down the hall.
"I don't know you, I-" I stopped when his hand slammed down beside my head stopping me from trying to run away again. Not again. Why does this happen me?
"I can't believe you don't remember me. It's me Derek." That's all he had to say. Fuzzy incomplete memories filled my mind. I know exactly who he was but I was wishing I didn't.
"D-Derek," I stuttered my heart racing.
"Oh so you do remember me." He lips curled up into an evil smirk. He looked exactly the same. Same chiseled jaw, perfectly styled hair and the darkest eyes I have ever seen. I was so stupid to fall for him. "You were quite out of it the last time we got together," he laughed. It was him. The friend of my brother's who's party I went to. The one that got me drunk... and high. "How old were you? 14....15? Oh but you didn't look your age. You were so mature....And now I can't believe what I'm seeing. I thought you were hot then but boy was I wrong." I wasn't as nervous as I was before now that I know who he is. I was still scared but I knew Derek and I knew he doesn't hurt girls. Well he didn't...
"I had lots of fun last time we were together," he continued. His free hand ran along my cheek, his thumb running across my lips. "I bet you you're the same. Looking for a good time... down for anything," he whispered the last part in my ear, his body pressing to mine. For some reason my arms wouldn't move and neither would my feet. There was something in me that just wanted to stay even though I had the option to leave. His hand ran along my cheek again, brushing my hair to the side his face so close to mine. It was almost like he put me in this trance.
"Jess?" I heard. I snapped out of it getting pulled back to the real world. I looked to my left to see Louis standing there. I was relieved.
"Lou, it's not what it looks like," I rushed to say. He didn't take any steps closer. What was he doing? Why wasn't he helping me?
"What does it look like?" Derek asked. What? I realized that his hand was no longer on the wall beside my head but on the bare skin of my hip, his other hand right behind my neck.
"Louis, I swear nothing is going on," I explained. Louis shook his head, his jaw clenching. Derek released me but when I tried to walk forward he pushed me against the wall. I didn't attempt to move a second time.
